You aren't.

I'm actually really bummed if Spader is going to be around next season.

I'd switch off the telly if that happened.

OMG that would either be awesome or terrible.

I liked Spader in the finale. He was the best of the prospective bosses. I do agree though that I can't see the characters shtick being taken very far. Thankfully, it sounds like he might end up as a David Wallace type character, and won't be a regular cast member. I can see this working really well.

Fuck, I never liked Spader. I'll watch it next season, but very little of that character was too much for me. So this may be where I bail out on the show.

That's probably why it was weird.

Yeah but if I were Jim I would've stuck with Karen (Rashida Jones).

James Gandolfini was in talks with the producers of "The Office", but he's not taking the full-time gig.

I mostly liked how Spader brought out different dynamics and traits from all the characters that, honestly, were starting to get a little stale. He injects a much needed new vibe to the show.

Ugh.

Thank goodness Gandolfini didn't get it.

It's official now. James Spader is joining the cast.

Gandolfini would have been great. I wasn't blown away by Spader on the finale but he was the best of the group, but having been a huge fan of Boston Legal I look forward to seeing him back on TV. Kind of funny they're bringing Spader in as Bates moves on to a DEK show.

Re: The Office may have found their new boss!

The sense of awkwardness is what was really awesome about what most people regard as the "best" seasons (two and three), and I think Spader did a pretty did a pretty good job of creating that in the last episode. Even better is that it's a different sort of quirkiness than Michael, so hopefully it adds some interesting layers to the characters. I'm in.
