I'm surprised Curran had to audition. I think his body of work is sufficient to just offer him a role.

He'd make a good Davos, IMO.

Slightly off topic - but a website decided to mix dialogue from Arrested Development with pictures from Thrones. Some of these are pretty good: http://arrestedwesteros.tumblr.com/

Judging by the filename of that image, I guess they worked on Red Riding Hood? Anything else in their portfolio we'd know?

Your comment was so concise, I can't tell if "that's all that needs to be said" or if it's more "shit, not these guys". That wolf looks fine in a still to me.

Sorry guys, that was just someone's best thoughts on who the new FX house would be, they sourced a article, but the article didn't actually mention a speciic FX house.

Horrible. I guess they didn't get the memo that 98% of the biggest cast in HBO history was European and the couple of Americans they did use were very special circumstances.

Most of those listed are english/Irish.

Christina Hendricks would be for those special circumstances, agree about Acker though. Everyone else is british/irish.

Its not that special. The UK/Ireland/Western Europe probably has a very high % of red headed actresses to pick from. She is just a big boned internet darling right now.

Really though it doesn't even have to be a red head that plays her. Mel is not a normal ginger and her hair is not a natural red.

Jamie Campbell Bower was such an awesome actor that they would be crazy if they didn't snatch him up for some role.

Re: Game of Thrones (HBO) Season 2: Casting, News

James Purefoy for some role?

From Collider:

With your previous history with HBO, and a lot of your fans really hoping for it, would you ever consider doing a role on Game of Thrones?

PUREFOY: If it was the right role on Game of Thrones, definitely. Of course! It’s a terrific series. It’s a great series of books. I love HBO. I’m on record saying that HBO is the best television company in the world, and I believe they are. I think they absolutely understand how to make television that is really, really vital and interesting and visceral, and all the things that television really should be. I’m a big fan of HBO.

He's been my pick for the Red Viper for a long time. Its not a big role but its a good one.

Her career isn't over just because that show is.

I always pictured the Red Viper as taller, thinner, and almost more lithe. I'd love to see him as Stannis actually.

That would be a complete waste unless they completely change the character. Stannis has all the charm and personality of a dead fish.
