I ended up watching it today, on demand, in standard def, like some sort of commoner.
Cox in Arizona.

I was pretty let down that he didn't slice of Drogo's nipple in that scene. That made me shiver in the book.

That teaches me not google something like "sheep woman drogo" -- I just saw a result preview with a pretty big spoiler...

Huge Rating news for GoT:

http://insidetv.ew.com/2011/06/07/ga...rones-ratings/

Another bloody good performance for HBO’s Game of Thrones on Sunday: The 9 p.m. airing averaged 2.7 million viewers, up 22% since the series premiere. If you count the additional 900,000 people who tuned in two hours later, GOT lured 3.6 million viewers for the night. Sweet.

Season to date, GOT has an average gross audience (linear plays, DVR and HBO On Demand) of 8.3 million viewers.

The term in the book for the "touched" is wight. So the 2 dead guys they brought back to the wall and the little girl from the first ep were wights, and the big thing that did the beheading in the first ep was a white walker.

White Walker. The White Walkers use the super thin crystal swords, move very fast, and makes sounds like cracking ice.
