Surprised that I like this show as much as I do. I think the characters are all likeable and original, and the overall arc doesn't feel tired and forced.
Really surprised at Elisha Cuthbert's performance. She's great to look at, but I never thought she had acting chops, but she fits in with the cast really well and despite has the least interesting character, does well.

She has screen presence, which does a lot for her.Originally Posted by BurnCard

Yeah, that's part of it. I dunno, I think her lack of comedic timing makes her character really believable when playing against the comediennes on the show.Originally Posted by RichC2

Excellent! Thanks for that! I do like it in normal speed as well when it's just funny!Originally Posted by tenaciousdave

I'm glad people notice Elisha Cuthbert is talented and/or funny. I never doubted she was or could be. She just needed the right vehicle.

Loved this episode (I love how they don't overuse the Derrick character but give him just enough screentime to get a laugh) and I'm being totally vulgar but that mic was in such a perfect spot up there on the podium.

Yep, that's the position I generally imagine Casey Wilson in. Thanks!Originally Posted by tenaciousdave

This is starting to grow on me. At first I hated all the characters cept for the Cuthbert, who's just there(at least looking good though) and her ex. Now I only can't stand Wayan's wife. Wish they'd kill her off or something.
