Last two eps were a bit dull. I agree with the post from that Jeer link above.

A dud episode of modern family is still worth watching.
For some reason, I got a kick out of Phil making the right turn hand signal and Claire telling him to go straight.

Funny that this is the episode that everyone comments on Lily. I was thinking the same thing when Cam fell in the pool. What kid wouldn't have any reaction whatsoever to something like that?

The funniest moment for me was when Mitchell was unable to suppress a laugh when Cameron said he could be electrocuted.

I had the same thought about Lilly's lack of any expressions this whole season (and most of last). I always wondered if she ever show a facial expression or make any noise. They're going to be in the 3rd season, and all the characters are getting older (ie. Alex is going to highschool and Haley is closer to college) which means Lilly has to be older. They won't be able to pull off a stoic Lily for yet another season.
I like Alex's reaction to the very enthusiastic acceptance of her very lame speech... "seriously?"

A few muld chuckles in an otherwise flat episode. Disappointing for a finale.

But this was an 8th-grade graduation. She would be in high school the next year with ALL of the same students that she just called out. Her sister was right, she would make herself more of an outcast (or piranha
) than she already was.
