FOX presents their 2011-12 upfront schedule next Monday, so they can't wait until episode 12 or 13 to make a decision.

I figure FOX has their minds made up already. I doubt the ratings for tonight's episode will swing much either way to sway their decision. Anything's possible I suppose...

No Liam this ep... but he wasn't needed.
This ep was intense! The showdown between the Alderman and the Super Intendent (w/ help from the Mayor) was great. Gibbon's is running scared.
I think its great that Jarek came clean to all the women in his life. He's really being humbled by everything that is happening to and around him. Jason Clarke is one heck of an actor.
to this show... the two-part finale (that starts next week) is gonna be c-r-a-z-y!
Wysocki: "Oh, for this case, you're gay."
Evers: "Why me? Why not you?"
Wysocki: "You play for the other team."

Yeah, I thought this was a great episode; easily one of the best so far, even though my favorite character (Liam) was absent. I hope enough people tuned in to give this show a shot at a second season.
It's crazy how much has happened and how much the characters, especially Liam and Wysocki, have changed in such a short span of time.

I thought this was an excellent character driven episode.
It handled a pretty dark theme with the Crusing scene and Johns looking for anonymous and dangerous hookups. Not surprised about the reveal with the "In the Closet" family man.
I also enjoyed that we got some more background into the Wysocki family and Vonda's father's affair. It sucked for her that her knowledge of the affair led to an angry reveal about her relationship with Isaac to her Uncle.
Great stuff also between Teresa and Gibbons. I liked how he initially thought she was his puppet, but she managed to outsmart him.
The whole situation with Wysocki's affair with his Ex was pretty messed up. I felt bad for his fiancee.
Looking forward to the 2-part finale. Not expecting this to get big ratings, but I'm hoping that FOX sees that this show has some really good long-term potential.

Thank god Ryan lays everything out there as he did with The Shield. Been a pretty solid show this whole season and looks to be going out with a bang. I love the chess match going on between Colvin and Gibbons.

I love the way they stage chase scenes on this show. Maybe it's the Chicago location, but they have a nice gritty feel to them.
The last couple of eps we've seen Gibbons lose his cool veneer a little. He's figuring out that Colvin is tougher (and more independent) than he thought. If the show does get canceled, I hope we get some resolution with them.

Despite the announcement of the cancellation tonight, here's what Shawn Ryan tweeted about the final 2 episodes:
I think you will find it satisfying. RT @gggiants Can you tell us if the last 2 wrap things up nicely, or will there be loose ends?
I liked this show alot, but I think being on a network and lacking a harder edge like Southland or The Shield hurt it creatively. I'm glad that at least 1 hard edged Cop show (Southland) will be returning next season.

Sorry to hear about the cancellation - I enjoyed this show, even though it's no Shield. Question - Anyone know what the song was that was playing during the car chase scene. I really liked that tune - it kind of took me out of the viewing experience momentarily.

Never watched The Shield, but Chicago Code was one of our favorites. We are sorry to see it go.
