Still has not officially been renewed for season 8. I read that if it does get renewed (which it will) season 8 will probably be the final season. It's the last season that Hugh Laurie is under contract for the show and as that story that was posted last week mentioned the show is getting too expensive to produce.

Not all of the sudden. He's been using again for the past few episodes. Pretty much since he broke up with Cuddy.

Is he an "addict" though? Seems like what he was using last night wasn't really giving him a "high" like the Vicodin but treating his leg issue.

Pretty good episode. Liked that they are showing repercussions with House's dangerous behavior.

Right. There was some misdirection when they first showed him shooting up with that stuff, we were obviously meant to think he was using heroin. But he wasn't.

Sure, he wasn't on Heroin. But he is on Vicodin, and has been for some time. He is an addict, but it's not sudden. It was laid out quite well when Cuddy had her health scare. He's been showing popping pills consistently. This last episode I remember him doing at least 3 at one time (this is Vicodin we're talking ... you don't need 3 at one time).

So..... Did the trial doc cook up the medicine like house did before he gave it to the rats?

After finding out that he was taking a trial drug the "cook" scene killed the episode for me (besides 13 ruining every scene she's in).

Yeah the whole vicodin thing is just way out there. He'd be deafer than Helen Keller with the amount he takes.

I do not take as many as he does, I did not know you could lose your hearing on it. I know I get pissed off more then I once.

Just open up a bottle of #180 ex (BTW he takes Reg)good time for all , I do not see this show going pass the 8th year. There is little more they can really do for it.
