Synopsis:

Spoiler:
Leslie (Amy Poehler) wants to bury a time capsule that encapsulates life in Pawnee, but an odd suggestion from a local man (guest star Will Forte) causes unforeseen consequences. Andy (Chris Pratt) seeks help from Chris (Rob Lowe) about how to win back April (Aubrey Plaza).

Episode 3 of 16

This was posted at NBC.com this week. Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman answering a couple of fan questions. Pretty humorous. BTW, Nick Offerman has the most awesome mustache ever.

Man, Bill Murray as Pawnee's Mayor on Parks And Recreation would be the greatest thing to ever happen to television.

I hope one of the Producers watched that video and is now making some phone calls.

Nick Offerman was on Conan the other night. He shaved off the moustache. He said he does it every year after the season is over. Dude is just like Ron in real life, though. Apparently he is a big woodworker in real life.

That was a hilarious episode. My only complaint was obviously not enough Ron, but the Twilight stuff was great and the town hall meetings are always hilarious.

Good episode but not as good as last week.

Loved Wiil Forte's reaction when Leslie tells him that she's a Harry Potter fan.

Honestly the episode could've ended after "The Four Horsemeals of the Eggporkalypse" and still have been amazing.

The town hall meeting was hilarious and loved when Leslie bitched at Jerry for messing up the recording.

Leslie reading all of the slogans had me rolling. I just love when they point out how shitty that town is

Lots of fun moments. And Jerry's screwup is immortalized for all time. Makes me laugh again just thinking about it.

Even though it was an obvious joke, I liked Ben's "again?" reaction to Leslie saying that someone was chained up in her office.

Re: Parks and Recreation -- "Time Capsule" -- 2/03/11

Great episode. Tons of laughs.

I loved how they gave Jerry credit for a good idea, then immediately made fun of him about dressing up as Tinkerbell.

One thing I caught that was pretty minor, but I thought was a nice touch, was Andy staring down Eduardo (I think that was his name) during the opening.

This was also a great episode for seeing some funny recurring characters as well, specifically the Christian lady and reporter. I always enjoy the back and forth between Leslie and the reporter and Leslie coming up with headlines on the spot.

Thought this episode also had some nice resolutions: Will Forte wasn't crazy, he was just trying to bond with his daughter; making a video instead of worrying about who got what in the time capsule.

Tom falling in love with Twilight was great. The town hall meeting was hilarious. And obviously people 50 years into the future knowing that Jerry screwed up was icing on the cake.

Can't wait for next week's episode, looks epic.

Yeah, everyone dumping on one guy is so great because that usually is how it is in any type of group.

I didn't think this episode was as hilarious as most of you. There were a few good moments, but it was just alright for me. The whole argument about the Twilight books being added into the Time Capsule got kind of annoying after awhile. And I started to get kind of annoyed with Forte's character.

I did enjoy Andy bonding with April's boyfriend which pissed her off. I like how he's just a good dumb nice guy.

at Leslie blaming the video problem on Jerry. It's sucks to see that character get shit on so often.

Yeah it's funny and I know it's intentional, but I kind of feel bad for the character as noone in the Parks office respects him.

Right, but Jerry literally brings nothing to the table other than being made fun of. If that stopped, even for one episode, he'd be completely useless.

I don't feel bad for him at all, as that running joke is probably the best continuous thing on the show.

And I know you guys knew he'd be worthless without it, but I literally wanted to use the word "literally"
