Oh man that show was dry. Great cast - but such a boring story (to me at least)

The degenerate gamblers were riveting. The scene of the guy getting beaten in the midst of banging the two hookers is one of the funniest scenes I've ever seen.

And it was the last thing I saw Dennis Farina in.

Back to Deadwood, I just watched Season Two again last month and have started watching Season Three again. The dialogue gets progressively more ornate season by season. I can't imagine how they possibly could have made it more Shakespearian in a Fourth season.

No point in beating a dead horse there.

Wow, I almost didn't need any hope. There is no entertainment news that would make me happier.

I have been holding out hope of a wrap up.

Do you think HBO with the success of 'true detective' could see a way to bring this back as a one season 'story'?

Considering they're bringing back "The Comeback"... anything is possible.

I've never supported a Kickstarter. But I'd gladly give money to get the final three seasons of Deadwood produced. Or even a movie for that matter.

Re: David Milch Considering "Deadwood" Revival!

For f–k’s sake, it better happen this time!

Deadwood, the Western drama that HBO cancelled in 2006, might soon get a satisfying conclusion: Sources confirm to TVLine that talks between the network and series creator David Milch have indeed resumed.

The project — which likely will take the form of a movie — had been rumored for some time; in 2014, star Kim Dickens told Michael Ausiello that a continuation was a “possibility.” (See video below.)

Following the show’s abrupt cancellation after three seasons, HBO announced plans to produce two two-hour wrap-up movies, but the project eventually died on the vine.

Garret Dillahunt, who played Francis Wolcott aka Jack McCall on the beloved series, tweeted some encouraging news Wednesday evening:

@garretdillahunt
So uh....I'm hearing credible rumors about a #Deadwood movie. #Everybodypray

HBO has yet to weigh in on the Deadwood revival buzz.

In a statement released to The Hollywood Reporter, HBO weighed in on the actor's post. "In reference to Garret Dillahunt’s tweet regarding the rumored Deadwood movie, there have only been very preliminary conversations," the statement reads.

What's this? Joyful fucking tidings such as these are liable to send my heart a fucking flutter. But you'll forgive me I don't start hootin' and hollerin' just yet. Least until the fruition of these cocksucking business proceedings is seen by my own fucking peepers.

Obviously Olyphant is free from Justified now. I wonder if this was part of the deal McShane made with HBO for his Game of Thrones role?

Why would Dillahunt be involved? Isn't Wolcott dead from hanging himself and McCall presumed dead from being hanged by the law?

Because he already played two roles, what's so unbelievable about a third?
