I did not mean to imply that Abby is ugly, she is pretty; but not super hot.
But her appeal lies in her quirkiness

For me she's rather plain looking and borders on annoying much of the time (and crosses that border occasionally), but I will say I'm surprised she's 41. The heavy makeup combined with her character's personality really sell her as being much younger.

I think the show itself is good but not great, but my love for the characters takes it to the great category.

It's odd how I didnt like everyone in the beginning, but they quickly won me over. They all play very well off each other.

Yup, she does have a quirky appeal. I know she'd be more appealing in a mainstream sense if she was always looking like this

(she'd make a great Evil-Lyn, by the way)

but her look in the show (and in general) has grown on me.

Yeah she looks much better without the goofy goth garb and makeup.

I'm in the middle of watching Fairly Legal and USA showed a promo of NCIS from the beginning marathon at 11am this Sunday (which I assume is season 1 since they showed shots of Sasha Alexander). So, Dragon Tattoo can record a few episodes if he wants to see what the hub bub is all about.

Thanks, DJariya. I'll do that.
