I saw some clips for this episode on the Bob's Burger website, and they were great. Looks to be even better than last week.

I am having a severe memory block right now and it's going to drive me crazy because I totally should know. What was the song playing during the kiss?

If you were here, the closing song from 16 Candles

Yeah, this is starting to click. Must say I'm pleasantly surprised with how good this week's show was, especially since I think Tina is the worst character.

what was that episode rated? 14? trannies, cocaine... I'm sure something else that you'd normally not see in a primetime animated series, they really pushed it in this episode, didn't they?

YES! Thank you so much! I knew I'd be kicking myself when I found out. :)

Best ep yet, though that's not saying much IMO

I agree that this ep pushed me over the edge too, I'll be stickin' it out from here on out.

Tina might just be my second favorite character after Bob. The son's one liners miss more often than hit, Louise has great energy and delivery but is usually more wacky than funny and I just flat out hate the mother's voice.

Trannies and cocaine in a TV14 series?

There we go...They've forced me to buy the season boxset when it arrives.

Gotta support quality TV like that.

And Gene mentioning the nazis in his Anne Frank joke, can't forget that :)

This show has been so-so for me, but I really enjoyed this episode. Loved the end when Gene wanted the mustache hair to glue to his chest so he could wear v-necks and then Louise saying she would glue the hair to his palm. I enjoyed Louise slapping the other two, especially in the background when Bob and the wife were talking. Oh, and also "I just kissed my first boy!" "So did I..." :)

I thought the show had its moments so far, but this episode shows it really hit it stride, provided this kind of episode is more of the norm from here on out. Looking forward to more shows.

Synopsis:

Spoiler:

Episode 7 of 13

(don't forget to set your clocks forward an hour at some point today, if you haven't already)

Re: Bob's Burgers -- "Bed and Breakfast" -- 3/13/11

Here's a list of the different "Burgers of the Day" (according to Wikipedia):

Spoiler:
  • The Child Molester (Candy)
  • New Bacon-ings (Bacon)
  • Foot Feta-ish Burger (Feta Cheese)
  • Never Been Feta (Feta Cheese)
  • Tunami (Tuna)
  • Rest In Peas Burger (Peas)
  • Mission A-Corn-Plished Burger (Corn Salad)
  • Chevre Which Way but Loose Burger (Chèvre Cheese)
  • These Collards Don't Run Burger (Collard Greens)
  • The Roquefort Files Burger (Roquefort Cheese)
  • Fig-eta Beet It Burger (Beet)
  • Totally Radish Burger (Radish)
  • Onion Burger - Grilled... to Death! (Onion)
  • Last of The Mo-Jicama Burger (Jícama)
  • Olive and Let Die Burger (Olive)
  • Thank God It's Fried Egg Burger (Egg)

And a list of the next door neighbors (again, according to Wikipedia):

Spoiler:
  • P.F.E.T.A.
  • Trot's All Natural Fertility Clinic
  • Vacant (Rent Reduced: Crime Scene Special)
  • Cow-n'tdown
  • Meth I Can: Methadone Clinic
  • Synthesizers! Synthesizers! Synthesizers!
  • Extra Moist Yoga

For anyone interested, here's some information about upcoming episodes as well (spoilers, obviously):

Spoiler:
  • 01x08 - "Art Crawl" (It's Bob vs. the city art council when Linda's sister displays her work at Bob's Burgers.)
  • 01x09 - "Spaghetti Western and Meatballs" (Bob and Gene bond over classic Western movies, making Louise feel left out.)
  • 01x10 - "Burger War"
  • 01x11 - "Weekend at Mort's"
  • 01x12 - "Torpedo"
  • 01x13 - "Lobster Fest"

Interestingly, some of the episodes have been aired out of production order. I haven't noticed any established continuity, but it makes me wonder why they've changed the order up, albeit slightly. For example, the third produced episode still hasn't aired; and last week's episode was actually Episode 09. Again, I don't think it really matters (other than "Human Flesh" being aired first), but I wonder what the reasoning was behind the decision.

This show finally clicked for me.

"Tina can just stand by the toilet"
"I don't mind"

"This is where I thrash"

The whole meet and greet scene had me in stitches too

Fox is a big fan of airing things out of order. Futurama, anyone?
