I finally got around to watching this weeks episode. Let's put it this way -- no WAY Brad picks Chantal. She looked horrible in her bathing suit (almost pregnant) and he's the kind of guy who is obviously into fitness. She's a grower for sure and there's no way he takes that chance. At this point I think it's gotta be Emily or Shawntel.

Also, Chantal's "confession" about eating too much the past week and feeling like a "pig" in her bathing suit was hilarious! You're trying to win a guy and you go and chow down a ton of food? Have some pride woman!

Poor Shawntel, her dad ruined her chances of being with Brad when he said "that he hopes she will take over their funeral business". How the hell did Emily have such a nice house already when she is only 24?

Shawntel's occupation reveal is like a 10th date reveal, after you've done the nasty a few times. Brad was spooked to high heaven after his date with Shawntel.

Can't believe Ashley is still in the mix, she can't end up in the final two, can she?

Emily is definitely in the final tow, she's been the one he's wanted all this time.

I've forgotten how boring it gets once they get to the hometown visits since the cattiness factor is eliminated. Plus no manufactured-drama-Michelle doesn't help either.

A hometown date with Michelle would have been epic (I'm sure Brad was thinking that during his Shawntel date - why didn't I pick Michelle?)

Did you see her daughter's bedroom? Her bedroom is larger than my entire apt.
The other Chantel's parents live in a mansion. Good gosh!

I knew funeral girl was going home this week. I thought it would be as much about her family's wishes and her career as much as it would be Brad's feelings about her but we know he didn't say he was falling for her. We all know Brad will pick Emily in the end. It would be a shock if he didn't choose her since you'd have to be blind not seeing how he feels about her.

I don't see how Emily can lose at this point. Chantal needs to drop 20 lbs -- she filled out that red dress like Kool Aid man.

Well, I'm bummed Shawntel is gone but I'm not surprised. I think Brad made the right choice by letting her go. Freelancing is a lot different than running a business. She would have taken a hit financially and there was no guarantee the relationship would work. Anytime she wants to put me on the embalming table, I'd be game I think Emily is a giant phony, but they are probably a good match.

You've got to be kidding me!! She's so middle of the road average... Are there really 25 stud guys that would want her anyways?? I think I'll pass; besides, the Bachelorette shows usually suck.

I guess some of the producers couldn't get enough of her (the rumored next bachelorette), but I was already tired of her after about 3 episodes, so no sale for me for the next season of the bachelorette).

I would pick Chantel but I'm guessing Brad will pick Emily next week.

Did anyone notice how incredibly large Chantel's parents' mansion was? That thing was like a castle! I would be intimidated if my date's house was that big (that would mean she was only used to the good life). Chantel's own house was more average though so kudos to the parents for not buying her an outlandish house just so because they can afford it. I'm thinking Emily has got such a nice house because she inherited it from her husband who died? But yeah, that kid's room is ridiculous and there is no way that child is not spoiled. If Brad picks Emily he doesn't know what he's in for.

Kinda like Ali was. Safe bet. I say "blech".

The evidence supporting that leak has been disproven. We're almost there. We'll find out soon enough.

And now for the reflective look in the mirror. It occurs to me that all I care about in the finale is who loses, not who wins. Am I alone? No matter who Brad picks, I'll feel nothing about their happiness. The drama for me will be in watching the person who goes home.

I look forward to The Final Rose when they reveal that things are broken off and they just never connected in the real world.

PS - I'm still pissed them chose Ashley for the next Bachelorette. Michelle would have been must see TV.

Was this last episode worth watching? It's sitting in my DVR. I found the last one boring.

Brad is such a doofus when he speaks, particularly when he has to have a 'serious' conversation.

They did? Meh. Who would want her? Definitely not worth watching. I never watch The Bachelorette, but I would've watched a Michelle one.

Ashley's sweet and very cute. Handicapped with the word "like" but she's cool. How would Michelle be any better? If she were the next bachelorette, who could she bad-mouth when there wouldn't be any other women to compete against?

Michelle could provide a much needed Black Widow component to "The Bachelorette" to make it interesting.

I never watch the Bachelorette, but if Michelle had been chosen, I would have watched for sure. First, because watching her justify and rationalize is the equivalent of Charles Manson ramblings. Secondly, I'd be interested to see what type of guy would find her psychosis entrancing. Lastly, as crazy as she was, I can't say I didn't enjoy looking at her.

Perhaps they chose Ashley because the women viewers sympathize with her. Michelle pissed a lot of people off if you believe postings on the internet and might turn some of their viewers from watching.

Gotta love the "Emily as gold digger" stories that are now appearing in the tabloid-ish magazines. Brad won't end up marrying the one he ends up picking, just ain't in the cards for the guy.

Labels are convenient, but they can hide the devil in the details. If she wants to use her beauty to find a husband who can support her in the manner she wants, she's hardly alone. More importantly, I miss all the gossip. I know of TMZ, and maybe RadarOnline, but I never seem to see any of these types of stories. Do you have a link to one?
