Re: DirecTV vs. Dish?

We have had Dish for 2 years, and it's alright. The customer service is adequate but nothing special. But I've never forgiven Dish for getting rid of VOOM. The sole reason we went with Dish is because of VOOM. Monsters HD, Kung Fu HD anyone? After having them less than a year, they took those channels off the air, to make room for other HD channels. To this day there's no equivalent to the programming they offered. Dish definitely got an earful from me about it.

No AMCHD (which had me wait for the Blu on Walking Dead) and, even more importantly, where's my HD DirecTIVO?
