The letters he wrote to Maureen hinted at, and then in the finale flat out said that he suspected Gemma and Clay were together and would most likely kill him. In addition to his apathy towards the club and a desire to leave that life.

Here's another vote of someone that loved the finale. Here's hoping that season 4 is better, and we see less whiners in the threads next year.

I'll definitely be up for less whining next season, but this season's quality (or lack thereof) justified all the "whining" it got. It was a big step down from season 2. With that said, I look forward to season 4 hopefully getting back on track.

This finale was great. Looking forward to seeing if the momentum of the finale carries over to next season.

Am I missing something or does Jax have a brother? I don't remember ever hearing about one but Teller's ending letter sure made it seem like it. I forget the name but he wrote something like "I don't want this life for (Thomas?), I'm afraid it's already too late for Jackson, he's too much like me."

Yeah, Thomas died when he was pretty young I think. I can't remember the exact age, but I'm pretty sure it was due to the genetic heart defect.

I've personally thought since S1 that Clay murdered John Teller.

I thought the last two eps were, besides the first, easily the best of the season. I am disappointed that Sutter pulled a Chase and stood by what was an obvious terrible decision to drag out the Abel storyline.

They were pretty clear about Hamlet being the source material since the beginning. Given that, it would be shocking if it was anyone but Clay.

yeah, the Clay thing was fairly obvious, although I'm a bit surprised about the reveal that Gemma might have been involved.

The way she and Clay talked way back in season one made it pretty clear that she was involved on some level. I was surprised when that storyline came to such an abrupt halt for so long.

Finally saw the season and it was alright About 3 good eps in the bunch and the best thing about ireland was the intro music. The original version sucks. I loved seeing Stahl die and I dont think the season was all that bad... the worst season of a show? Obviously no one here ever saw Rescue Me season 4.

I think it's important to draw a distinction between complicit and involved. I think she had knowledge and probably did nothing to stop it, but I'm not sure she was actually a participant in the killing.

Probably willful ignorance.

As for the finale, I thought it was a very good ending to a meh season. I thought the Irish stuff was dragged out too long. I was satisfied to see Stahl get killed because her character went from a thorn in the MC's side to a psychopath who didn't fit in with the other characters.

Since Unser is done, I wonder if he'll moonlight as security for the MC?

Re: Sons of Anarchy -- "NS" -- Season 3 Finale -- 11/30/10

I just finished watching the first three seasons on Netflix. Seasons 1 & 2 were really good, Season 3 was really odd. I'm still not sure why the IRA would care enough to kidnap Jax's kid and take him to Ireland. And Stahl's character seemed a little too crazy. Oh well. I'm sure I'll watch Season 4 when it comes out on DVD in August or September.
