Besides, everybody knows had Jim called from his extension to Gabe, Gabe's phone would have ID Jim as it rang. Gabe would have already figured out Jim's the one that called him and not Jo. It's not realistic, but it's funny just follow along the joke. It's like those people who analyzed sci-fi films and say how this or that isn't realistic, well duh........

No, I didn't just start watching. I realize there's precedent for him slacking off, his behavior just annoyed me this episode for some reason. "Well, I'm not getting commission anymore, might as well wander around the office and annoy people". I was thinking that 'slacker Jim' was 'pre-baby Jim', I thought he had been taking the job more seriously the past year or so..

I always enjoy it when Michael can jettison his goofiness for a moment and behave like a boss. The moment with Ryan and co. in the break room was perfect.
Erin's anger over Ryan using the color printer.
Gabe deserves all of the rancor he gets from Jim and co. I know that he has a job to do like everyone else, but he's a sniveling yes man who was chosen for his position precisely because of these qualities.

My favorite line was when Pam asked "OK, what were people into eight years ago?" and Erin responds "Everyone was getting their driver's licenses!"

Jesus, relax. The idea of cap on commission is just a setup for Jim to goof around and ultimately doing a prank on Gabe. This isn't real life, it's precisely because this is illogical that's what makes it funny. Had Jim really just followed the corporate policy and went back to work realizing his job is to sell regardless commission, what kind of show would this be? This isn't real.

Does anyone know what website ryan was looking at when Mike opened the door to his closet? He quickly clicks back to the wuphf page. All I could make out was some doofy action hero guy and the line "powerful new jetpack" might have been a game.

Thought this episode had a bunch of laughs but this episode showed how far Angela has strayed from her original character. She is pretty far from the uptight woman from the earlier seasons. She used to be a cold bitch who had the harsh one lines. Now she's just too normal. I liked the old Angela a lot more.

I liked this episode. About middle of the pack for this season but since i'm finding this to be a good season that's not a bad thing.

Something like "Gabe, this is Jolene. I've made some revisions to my book and I need someone to listen to them. Now pay attention and don't interrupt me!" Followed by the entire text of Jolene's audio book.

Did anyone else notice that when Ryan made his pitch to the office that Dwight had a piece of hay in his hair?

That's what I thought. It's not like Pam & Jim have money to spare, and if they did, it certainly wouldn't be spent on a website run by a guy they dislike who once was arrested for financial fraud.
