Soften the wording if you want, but IMO this was the worst episode of the season. Harsh criticism, because I usually the writing is top notch.

Quite the opposite. Many of us love this show. I've always loved this show. Many of us rarely post that we don't like it. This episode was just a big disappointment, especially after that great cold open.

The downward spiral for me didn't really happen 'til the Michael Scott Paper Company, and last season I just stopped watching, and hence stopped visiting the weekly threads. This season my co-workers--who kept on watching the show when I wasn't--and I actually agree that it was funny again. That's probably why a bad episode like this gets strong reaction because everything leading up to it has been great.

I liked the clinic joke against Oscar

and the Erin "get in the car quickly" joke

Best season since Season 3 by far but this episode was ho-hum. No big laughs but it wasn't terrible.

Agree that this was pretty lackluster. But at least there was no youtube video homage.

I like how despite Jim and Pam's assertions that they are normal and everyone else is crazy, Andy's play went down one hundred times smoother than their Christening.

This will be one of those episodes that I don't revisit when it hits BD.

I just don't care about any of these characters anymore. Well, except maybe Creed.

I agree that the show is starting to feel played out. I appreciate that they have toned down some of the excessive silliness of the past couple seasons, and I agree the show has been better for it this season (so far). But even though I still watch the show for the occasional good laugh, I stopped being invested in the characters a few years ago when they all went from being written as people who might exist in the real world to all becoming generic sitcom characters.

And I do dread that the show may really disintegrate, post-Steve Carell. I think they need to call it a day here soon.

At least phoning something in requires a little effort; this show, and especially this episode, hasn't even displayed that.

This season has been awesome so far IMO. This ep wasn't the best of them but it was still good. Andy sneezing on Dwight's toast was one of the grossest/most hilarious things I've seen in a while.

I'm usually not too critical of this show, even when most others are, but I just hated this episode - nothing seemed to work; none of the jokes and none of the character moments. They were all either far too forced, or just annoying. This goes down as probably my least favorite episode, or probably the only episode I actively disliked.

Sure it has, the rest of the season has been solid.

After watching it, I deleted it from my DVR knowing fully that my girlfriend still hadn't seen it. Would rather deal with that fight than sit through this episode again and risk exposing her to it.

And I'm not one of those who have complained continuously.

I hear that. Thank goodness the wife watched it as I did. The kids are out of luck though.

I think they took that joke too far. Had the cold opening stopped after Jim sneezed on Dwigt, it would have been more effective. But, as has been the standard the last few seasons, the point had to be pounded into our skulls.

I'm amazed anyone liked this episode. I don't think I laughed once.

I thought they made it funnier by doing so

Not enjoying a show as much as you used to disliking a show

Ditto. Extremely disappointing because I thought the last few episodes were great.

This is the problem I'm starting to have with this show; there's just no one on it that I care about anymore. Michael is very quickly (for me) turning into a unlikeable character. In the first few seasons Stupid Michael was funny, but over the course of the last season, I've become more and more annoyed every time he shows up, expecially in this episode ( to Pam for telling him off when he tried sitting with them). Although I do have to give Michael a for telling Stanley and Kevin to stop bitching about the food.
