Now this episode had a good mix of things going on compared with the last two. I hope this show doesn't get canned.

He touched Pete's piece. No one touches Pete's piece.

So long Vergis.

Re: Caprica -- "Things We Lock Away" -- 10/19/10

Really good episode.

I liked the New Caprica stuff a lot and am looking forward to the partnership between Zoe and Tamara. It was also nice to see how Zoe sort of drew up the plans for Cylons before Daniel and the genesis of Avatar Zoe. I do have a question though: Zoe was seeing another her and talking to her when she was alive, so was Zoe schizophrenic or was it just imaginary?

I don't know why Daniel thought it would be a good idea to betray Joseph, Same, etc. and try and form a partnership with Virgis. Doesn't he realize by now that these guys mean business and would kill him if they found out he had thought of betraying them? I liked Virgis and give him credit for going out on his own terms.

I like the sort of cat-and-mouse game Amanda and Clarice are playing. I'm not sure Amanda realizes Clarice is using her and obviously Clarice doesn't realize Amanda is spying on her for the police. I just hope Amanda finds out that Clarice has been manipulating Amanda from the start so she doesn't get too caught up in feelings of betrayal. I liked Clarice's family's response to Amanda showing up, lol.

Also, why did Lacy tell Clarice what she wanted to hear? I thought Avatar Zoe made it perfectly clear to her that Clarice couldn't be trusted. She should have just left it at the robot and program were destroyed and not given her anything else.

Did anyone else notice that during the "Previously On..." introduction there were voiceovers of the characters sort of saying what their dilemma was or what they were up to? Thought that was sort of odd. I love the opening sequence of this show though, it's definitely one of my favourites.

I was confused as well. I took it that Avatar Zoe had real Zoe in her head and that's who she was talking to.

I'm glad they seem to have "killed off" William Adama. His scene's never did anything for me.

And what happened to the lawyer aspect of Joseph? Seems they dropped that altogether?

I took it more in the sense of how Baltar and Six had eachother in their heads throughout BSG. Could be wrong, but that's what it strongly seemed like to me.

On top of what you said kstublen about the opening, I really dig it and I LOVE the theme music. Defintely one of the best openings there is.

I bet they'll reincorporate him at some point, but better that they leave him out for now and create some real interesting chracters. He gets his time to shine in BSG.

Also, they referenced to Joseph Adama being such a great lawyer in BSG, I'm sure they'll have a way to tie it back in once he hits the inevitably hits the straight and narrow.

I will be super bummed if this show gets canned.

this show makes me think that the Cylons were right in doing what they ultimately did in Battlestar Galactica. Caprican's are a bunch of scuzzy self absorbed, hedonistic criminal fucks who deserved to be nuked.

Re: Caprica -- "Things We Lock Away" -- 10/19/10

This was a weak episode. I loved the Vergis/Graystone parts but hated everything related to Zoe and Tamara. A real shame as I was looking forward to the Zoe/Tamara showdown. It was so lame that Zoe "Matrixed" those guys in the end of the last episode and was being a total pussy in this episode. I'm also not liking the imaginary friend. I was so glad when they dropped that crap with Amanda. I hate that they now started it up with Zoe.

I really think that these imaginary characters are just like Baltar's and Six's from BSG.

Oh and I just thought of this this week. Is the Greystone house supposed to be Baltar's future house? The looked pretty similar to me.

But right now, I don't understand why they'd even care? Why wouldn't the Avatars just stay in v-world instead of inserting themselves into physical "Cylon" form where they possess such physical limitations? Seems pointless to me. I'd rather be a "dead walker".

Couldn't a human in the real world just turn off v-world?

I keep thinking that as well, but I'm too lazy to check back to see.
