It would have been funny if Crowley's son, Gavin MacLeod, would have been the ship's captain.

Pretty good episode as it was a nice change of format.

Another good episode. It'd be cool if Sam and Dean stayed overseas for an episode.

It was cool to see the Clan MacLeod castle. Was kinda hoping for a Highlander mention since Drag Me To Hell got namedropped a bit after it was revealed Sam and Dean were dealing with a lamia. The fact that the Crossroads Demon's name was Fergus MacLeod seemed like a perfect setup.

I thought this was one of the better episodes of the entire series... lots of great lines... Bobby always brings it.

Definitely. I was underimpressed with the first two episodes this season, but I dug last week's, and this one really is one of the series' all-time best. It's Supernatural's version of "The Zeppo"! Nice Love Boat reference too.

I have had a hard time getting into the season so far, but last night's show was solid. Demon torturing, a monster going through a woodchipper, what's not to love.

season has been pretty good so far, i like the "heaven in chaos" angle

i just finished season 5 last week, thought the finale would of been a great end to the series

Seems like hell isn't faring any better. And monsters are running wild and regionless on earth.

Was Bobby running Windows 3.0 on his computer?

I'd hope it'd be at least Windows 3.1...

Best episode of this season thus far, gave me a little more hope that this season could be decent.

Yep, great stuff. I actually liked having an episode where Sam and Dean were background characters for Bobby. Nice seeing him as the "hub" for a lot of the other hunters, answering the phone all the time and stuff. Also it wasn't a huge shocker, but I liked the twist where he wasn't actually trading the son for his soul. That was well done. Good ep!

I'm gonna come right out and say that was one of the best episodes of the entire series - thoroughly fantastic.

Yeah. IIRC you couldn't do Internet on 3.0... not that Netscape could do a heck of a lot for you outside of flat TEXT in 3.1.

Good episode. I hope this continues. It would be a shame to end the series after this season sputtering like it has up until this one.

This episode was so good I (wrongly) assumed Kripke had written it. One of the best in the entire series, and easily better than anything else this season.

Wow. I didn't want this one to end.
Just a great ep on a number of levels, most of which have already been mentioned in this thread.

Excellent...

It's funny you should say that, because I didn't think it was. I felt like the ep was over at one point, and I checked the time, only to see I had 26 more minutes of show left. I feel like that happens with the best, dense, tv episodes.

Best episode so far.....

This would've been a better season premiere than the crap we got a few weeks ago.

Hopefully, this is just a sign of things to come.
