That's good, we're almost half way through and nothing has really happened regarding his Mom at all.

I wonder (hope?) if they were waiting to find out before they pushed forward with the meat of anything. Last year and the 13 episodes indicates no, but that might have been because they knew they weren't on in the Fall so they had not cushion.

Liked what they did tonight. They brought out Morgan as the goofy guy that succeeds in spite of himself.

I read a Tweet from Matt Barber, an editor on Chuck, and they are editing episode 10 right now. I definitely think they can flesh out the season past episode 13 since they will have enough advance notice. Remember last season they weren't supposed to premiere until March after the Winter Olympics, so they only mapped out a 13 episode arc and the back 6 was just tacked on once they premiered earlier than expected in January.

This was pre-empted by a political debate here in MI... luckily my DVR caught it at 1:35am last night.

Best episode of the season so far. Any time Casey has to interact with the Buy Morons, it's comedy gold. Too bad he was unconscious through the entire Jeffster sequence.
At this point it seems that Morgan has become what Chuck used to be -- the bumbling outsider who manages to save the day in spite of himself.

Verdict is in from NBC. Apparently they couldn't just order 9 additional episodes of the show...
They ordered 11 instead!

Perhaps we'll get a fifth and final season of 22 episodes to get the show to 100 eps.

I liked the tone/character interaction in this episode. However, this season feels so ... linear. Each week we get one more coincidence that ties to Volkov.

Not knowing how long the show would last I'm sure they needed to keep things moving in that direction so they could have a series finale if necessary

Anyone else catch the name on one of the lockers when the bad guy was checking to see which apartment was Casey's?

Good to hear the full season news, because this episode did next to nothing for me. I got a chuckle out of the A-Team bit and a laugh out of Morgan waking Casey up. Other than that it was one of the more forgettable episodes.
Here's hoping they have a plan for 22 that ramps up!

I liked Morgans gulp before he told Casey that Alex migh be spending the night

This 4th season order is terrific news

(Though I wish there wasnt a 24 episode season, the episodes are really good if they dont have to be stretched out. 20-22 episodes would have been better.)

Nice episode, and it was good to have a bit less of Chuck. Usually not a fan of Morgan, but he was fine in this episode.

I hate to be negative on this show, since I've enjoyed it so much, but has anybody noticed "dumb" music creeping in? It usually accompanies a Chuck scene where he's saying something off kilter. The problem - in part - is that the music starts before the scene fully develops so you know where it's going.
The other part to this is Chuck saying such things that he normally wouldn't. Before he might try and make a joke that didn't work out, but he'd realize it and go very deadpan serious look on his face, of course he'd then try and segway into something else. An old example was when John Larroquette tried to get them to kiss. Chuck came up with the burrito excuse, but then when pushed to shove it turned serious. Now he saying/alludes to things such as him and Sarah getting it on in the service closet.
Maybe it's nothing, but it comes off to me as very out of character when put in contrast to scene fountain/courtyard scenes.
