This is the most interested I've been in a SNL show in a long time. I could do without West though, but I almost always fast forward through the musical performance so it's not that big of a deal.

I fucking hate Malcolm in the Middle with a passion (to the point hearing the guy in it was in Breaking Bad kept me from that show), but realizing that the guy was Tim Whatley has inspired me to watch this SNL and to give Breaking Bad a chance.

Obama is a major "character", they're not going to take it away from vet Armisen to give it to a newbie supporting cast member just because he does it better.

I was never into Malcolm in the Middle, seen a few episodes but it didn't do much for me. Trust me, after a couple of episodes of BB you won't associate Bryan Cranston with his MITM character. He is very convincing in his BB character and always puts in an amazing performance. His Emmy's are VERY much deserved.
