Not sure why. It wasn't any good.
None of them are any good. If they chose by quality, they would never have a repeat.

BTW, were the Kanye songs pre-recorded? They looked like they were.
I took the NBC tour in NY not long after this and our guide was explaining to us how when Kanye first showed up to do the show he thought the stage was much bigger because it looked really big on his TV. He brought dozens upon dozens of people with him and somehow they made it work. He did perform live, but not on the typical Grand Central Stage.

This show has had its moments, but probably hasn't been consistantly good since 1993.

Yeah, my first time in the studio was at the 30 Rock Live show and it looked very small overall. Everything is bigger on TV for some reason

Funny, I remember people complaining about how horrible it was then.

Those are two particular recurring sketches that I find annoying.

I agree with you in regards to What Up With That?, but seeing Morgan Freeman and Ernest Borgnine on that stage was enough for me to enjoy that sketch.

The Miley Cyrus Show, on the other hand, has been great so far, and Cranston as Billy Ray, in addition to the Johnny Depp impersonation totally locked the sketch for me.
