2 things about the goat rancher chick.
A. I bet she's a great lay (and not bad looking), but crazy
B. Why does she have a NY/Boston accent?

I think Jimmy T has been off his meds too long. And by meds I mean beer. He looks like a little version of The Great Khali.
Wendy killed herself at the end with that speech. Too bad, her & the chick next to her (dark hair) are nice looking.

Yve is pretty hot. For Wendy, the "annoying" outweighs the "hot" after about 30 s.

Anyone see the cancer commercial with the past survivors?
Russell Hantz: "Your donation can help save lifes."
I hope Kelly B. doesn't get sent home early just because of the leg, because she is nice to look at.

No legitimate hot girl again for a regular season.
I actually felt bad for Wendy. She did look good for 48 and I typically don't care when the yappy people like that go early, but something about her made me feel the opposite.
Not a bad start and certainly enough interesting people to think it might be a good season, but it's inexcusable that they can't even cast one girl who's truly eye candy and can play the game (even if it's just barely).

I don't know what to think so far. But has there ever been a more obvious first person off than Wendy? That's about as dumb as it gets.

When they showed the isolation shot on the fake leg sitting on the beach I turned to my kid (who watches the shows with me) and said that the first thing Russell would have done is burn that thing that night while she slept and then vote her gimpy ass out next chance he got.
And it would have been awesome.

Was I the only one who noticed that when they were showing how the challenge would work that one of the "gutters" had a Baby Ruth sitting in it (if you know what I mean)? Pretty weird thing to show.

Not many likable characters so far. I do like Jimmy Johnson and I like the one legged chick. She seems cool and she's pretty hot.
The young guys are already annoying me. They all seem really fucking retarded. Brenda, the young one that says she's willing to flirt, is annoying me already too.
I didn't like Wendy. She pretty much talked her way off the show.
Why anyone would vote out Jimmy Johnson is beyond me. The guy's probably pretty smart at game planning challenges and doing the right strategic stuff and you already know there is no way he's going to win. If I were there I'd be first in line to be his ally. He needs to bring in 3 other smart old people and run the game right till the end.

Pretty interesting cast so far. Some interesting characters. I haven't picked someone to root for yet but I like Tyrone. I don't think I particularly like any of the younger crowd so I'm going to root for the older tribe at the moment. Here are some of my first impressions and thoughts.
Fabio (Jud) is hilarious to watch. He's got to be one of the dumbest survivors yet, I hope he sticks around just so we can get some quality comedy scenes.
I predict a Jimmy showdown in hte next few weeks with Jimmy J coming out on top. Jimmy T. seems too loud and angry. Jimmy J could make it to the merge if he can keep his team motivated and get himself in an alliance with at least 2 other players.
Marty seems like he could become a key player.
On the young tribe I see some alliances already forming. There's Brenda and the professional race pit crew guy and the two overly chauvinistic guys who were talking about how Russell and Boston Rob could have run last season.
I don't see one-legged Kelly making it far only because of the other players worrying about the sympathy vote. IIRC that was one of the main reasons the last player with a missing leg was voted out (I think that was in Amazon or Marquesas, but I have no idea). It's a shame really, because if I was on the jury I wouldn't even consider a handicap as a factor. Maybe losing a close family member or being homeless or something, but not a handicap. Are the other players just overthinking it or looking for any reason to get rid of someone that's not them? Would any of you, as a jury member, actually take that into consideration for the vote?
Thank goodness Wendy is gone, she does not shutup!
Right now I like the talisman of power, but we'll have to see how big of an advantage it grants in each challenge. I don't think the one bucket of water would have made a huge difference, especially because that challenge hinged more on the puzzle. I agree with the older tribes decision to keep it. It's the first challenge and they want to know how they stack up against the other team on an even playing field. Save the talisman for a more physical challenge where you need the advantage. I also like the rule that the talisman transfers to the opposing team when you use it, should keep the challenges interesting and even.

Agree that they might as well keep the Idol of Supremacy. It's the first tribal so both crews can easily get rid of some dead weight.
Mark my words, Marty will win it all.
And for the record, I have no "insider info". Just my guess based on the first episode.

Who's shoes were the girls deep-sixing in the previews for next week?
I could not make out what they were saying.
BTW, that is a HUGE disadvantage if someone were to loose their shoes. Do they have sneakers also? Or just the one pair they wear in?

Considering one of the girls was wearing cowboy boots when they first showed up on the beach last night, I assume they also have sneakers.
If not, then she deserved/deserves to be voted out first just for being an idiot.
