Survivor is moving from Thursdays back to the Wednesday time period where TV history was made when the show premiered 10 years ago. In the latest twist for the venerable reality competition — unjustly snubbed at the Emmys this year, though Jeff Probst earned his third in a row as host — the teams are divided by a generation gap. Tribe Espada members are all over 40, while Tribe La Flor contestants are all 30 or younger. Let the games begin.

Excited as always for a new season of my favorite television show. I figure it will be Jimmy Johnson going home tonight.

I don't think so. I think the man is charismatic enough that others will enjoy his presence at least until he's perceived as a threat. I think the older tribe will elect to vote off the weakest members first, or the downright annoying, so they can ensure physical wins against the younger crowd.

Johnson probably won't make it past the halfway point...people will enjoy his company but most will figure there's no way in hell he needs the million dollars, so he'll be booted.

I really like the move to Wednesday - it would have been an otherwise empty timeslot for me. Plus it no longer requires a move when March Madness comes around.

They're going to HALO drop him in mid-season to shake things up a bit.

On a serious note I can't say I'm overly thrilled with the casting this time around but I'll give it a shot, like always, and get sucked in against my better judgment, like always.
