 I completely agree!

Not a bad start. A bit awkward, but it's the first show.

For anyone who missed the show, or if you don't have an affiliate carrying it in your area, Ebert just tweeted that the first episode will be streaming for free world wide starting tomorrow night at http://www.ebertpresents.com/ .

Ebert also showed off his new "chin":

Stumbling start but it shows promise. I really hope the two main critics work on their chemistry together. I still wish Ebert would have hired some of the people that worked on the old show to be critics. Because until I can get a feel for where these critics are on their reviews I really won't know who to side with. I always knew that I would agree with A.O. Scott the majority of the time because it seemed I liked a lot of the same movies he did. But if that little boy keeps on liking every movie that comes on the show then he's going to be hated as much as Ben Lyons. I really get a Ben Lyons kind of vibe from him and I don't know if it's youth and inexperience or what it is...I just hope they work on it for future episodes.

I do like how they came up with other segments to make up for no commercials, though. The classic movie girl really shows promise and I really enjoyed the heck out of Ebert's part at the end. That dog movie looks like a must see for me.
