HD finally or still old school?

In the past the producers have always strongly talked down HD as unnecessary, -unless, of course, the network was willing to foot the bill.

My wife's mother worked with Nat on the Doctor's team. We met her after the race was won. She couldn't say anything so I don't know how they did.

Unfortunately, I don't think we'll ever see AR in HD. Because of the logistics, it's too cost prohibitive.
