If we're going with who we thought did the best job as a Starfleet Captain, I think it's Picard. In terms of entertaining, I would go with Kirk.

Well Kirk is the winner and Picard not so, even though Picard wasn't as straightforward as Kirk i'm glad they didnt make him a Kirk clone, he was different but still cool in his own way, a triumph for the bald frenchman.

Well the last time there was a poll, Picard won. Maybe in another 10 years a different poll will show a different winner.

My favorite series were TOS and DS9. So is it wrong that the only series I've seen every episode of is Voyager? :blush:

Nine years ago I probably would have answered Picard, though it's always been a tough call for me between Picard and Kirk. This time, I went Kirk. Looking back, he really IS Star Trek...and Shatner owns.
