What doesn't change? Cromartie's still got EIGHT kids, four of which were born within like a year of each other. He's been hit with five paternity suits in the past two years. It may have been unfair to make Cromartie the butt of the joke here, but he's still hilarious. And the HBO producers couldn't have staged the part at 35-second mark where he mentions, almost disappointed, "Tyler", the one kid with a semi-conventional name.

So don't worry: It's still okay to laugh at all this. If anything, the back-and-forth debate about the reality of the reality show, taken from a New York Post story, just makes it even more surreal--a perfect sign of where we are with sports and entertainment in 2010. And if this explanation was all dreamed up out of thin air by Cromartie's publicist? Well... Don't bet against it. It's 2010, after all.

Saw this on wiki. This guys sounds like Shawn Kemp.

Cromartie has fathered at least seven children with six women living in five states, and has been named in at least five paternity suits in the past two years.[11] According to court records, Cromartie failed to appear in court on two separate occasions in reference to moving violations and his driver license status.[12]

This is the best show on TV and the Jets were a excellent choice. The shows sucked when they had the Cowgirls.

I like the part where Rex Ryan has a 10 second speech about the uniform policy and then takes the team to see Dinner for Schmucks.

Please. The Cowboys are a draw whether you like them or hate them. The Jets will never be on the same level as the Cowboys.

Travis Henry calls that "practice".

Travis has been married once, at age 18; the marriage was later annulled. He is currently engaged. Henry has fathered at least nine children among nine different women. Henry has had on-going problems making his child support payments to the mothers of nine of his children. However after the birth of twins in 2009, the number is at least eleven children from ten different women. He was arrested in Polk County, Florida in March 2009 and charged with failing to pay $16,600 in child support. His lawyer estimates that he is obligated to pay at least $170,000 per year in child support payments.

On September 30, 2008, Henry was arrested by the DEA after allegedly being involved in a multi-kilogram cocaine transaction that occurred in Centennial, Colorado. Henry, portrayed by court documents "as the ruthless 'money guy' in a cocaine trafficking ring", faces 10 years to life on federal drug trafficking charges... He accepted a plea deal on Tuesday, April 14, 2009, to the charge of conspiracy to possess cocaine with intent to distribute. Aside from prison time, Henry will have to pay around $4 million in fines. On July 15, 2009, Henry was sentenced to three years in federal prison for financing a cocaine trafficking operation.

My post was more about your comment about the Cowboys. People in Dallas need to realize that the rest of the nation doesn't give as big of a fuck about the Cowboys as they think we do.

Will first of all I don't live in Dallas and second of all Cowboy fans are spread out everywhere so someone in the rest of the nation must give a fuck about the Cowboys. The Cowboy fanbase is strong(I can't believe I have to explain this this is pretty much common knowledge). Case in point is tonight's preseason game in San Diego where about half of the crowd are Cowboy fans. The Cowboys are the 4th biggest brand in the world. I guess not only does the rest of the nation give a fuck but the rest of the world does too.

I'm not much of a Jets fan, but I did like Sanchez's hat. The green hat with a white plane on it, had "JETS" in green written on the plane. Pretty sweet.

That is true since the Jets will make the playoffs this year and the Cowgirls will struggle with their depleted O line and Romo and the offense struggling to score TDs.

^I am pretty sure that barring some monumental disaster, the Cowboys will make the playoffs.

Would the monumental disaster be ...Romo slipping on his hands, throwing an INT or throwing the ball only to Witten??

Really like Hard Knocks but the 2nd episode IMO was one of the worst they've produced in the entire series. It was boring and even the game highlights/footage wasn't exciting. Nothing in the preview for the upcoming episode looked that interesting as well.

More like winning the division, throwing the ball to Miles Austin, Dez Bryant, and Jason Witten.

BTW man who is your favorite team. So I carve them up every chance I get.

Re: Hard Knocks Returns with the NY Jets (premiere 8-11-10)

Cowboys suck and Favre haters suck....that's coming from a Bears fan. People (i.e. Green Bay and New York) need to stop being whiney little bitches about him. Be pissed off at Ted Thompson who pushed him off the team. If you're the Jets, be pissed that Thompson used your franchise to avoid sending Brett directly to Minnesota...knowing full well that a year later he'd be on that plan to Mankato.

As far as the behind-the-scenes of picking teams...the Jets approached NFL Films/HBO this year. And as for teams turning down NFL Films, the Bears turned them down in '02 and I believe again in '06. There were a ton of juicy storylines in both of those camps but Angelo didn't want the distraction.

And the Bears don't. Yeah right. The Bears and their fans are still living off 1985.

Ahem. We're still living off 1985 and wishing Ditka had coached the Super Bowl game in 2007, thankyouverymuch.

Pot... Kettle... Black.

And of course you like Brett Favre, Bears fans love QB's that throw interceptions.
