Bad News for those who watch this show.

I don't watch this, but I've seen nothing but positive comments about it, so this gives me time to rent the DVD's and catch up on seasons 1-3 to see what the hype is all about.

I recall Rescue Me had a similarly long hiatus after the writer's strike and they produced a series of online episodes for Crackle.com and they also aired on FX to fill in the gap.

I looked at Bryan Cranston's IMDB.com profile and he has 4 movies in post production and one that he is currently filming right now. It would not surprise me that he just needed to take some time off before working 15 hour days on his show again.

Normally it would premiere in March, so it is only a few months later than normal.

Hopefully they re-air season 3 soon. I lost in a DVR hard-drive crash before I was able to watch.

You must check this show out. It's not to everybody's taste (in fact, I don't know anyone outside of internet forums who watches it), but I (and a lot of others) think it's the best thing on TV right now. Bryan Cranston's performance is incredible.


Yeah, but it means a full year between seasons, which makes this particular panda sad.

I wonder if that will delay season five of Mad Men. You wouldn't think they would want their two signature shows airing at the same time.

I was thinking the same thing. Do you think Sony will be smart enough to make sure the third season gets released with enough time to watch it before S4 starts? I'll bet not.

Dang that's a long time. However, though the joke about DTV & AMC-HD was funny, it's a good point. I just started watching Season One on Blu-Ray, and it's an absolutely STUNNING difference, so I guess it'll be worth the wait.

Also to anyone who hasn't watched this but likes quality TV, I highly recommend it.

Or maybe we'll get Mad Men earlier. Probably not, but if they traded spots I would be cool with that.

Blah I have mixed feelings on this. On the one hand I want them to take as much time as they need to get us the best possible stories and stuff. On the other I really don't want to wait almost a year for the premiere of the new season. Gonna be a long wait and this is one of my favorite shows on right now.

Just caught up with all 3 seasons and minisodes. This show is unbelievable. I can't believe I have to wait a year for the next season.

Following "spoiler" describes no plot, but is a general description of my feeling concerning a certain character:

Everyone who's not watching this show, the buzz is true. This is the best show in television.

And the best part is that it gets better every season. You watch season one and think, wow, this was great, it's a 10. Then you watch season 2 and think I can't believe this show could get better!!

... and then you watch season 3 and the rest of the TV is boring compared to this.

It is a hell of a show. I haven't gotten to see but a few early eps of Season 3, so I am eagerly awaiting the dvd.

Hey, if they need a long break in order too keep up the amazing quality of each season, then let them have it. Seriously, this is by far the best show on TV.

The wait is over -- the delayed Season 4 of AMC's praised drama Breaking Bad will premiere on Sunday, July 17. The cable network took a longer-than-usual break between Season 3 of the show, which launched in March of last year, and Season 4, rendering the series ineligible for this year's Emmy Awards. Star Bryan Cranston won an Emmy for each of the first three seasons, joined last year by co-star Aaron Paul, who won for supporting actor in a drama series. i think i will be downloading these off amazon (if it's up) just so i can see it in hd. directv continues to screw it's customers on this front.
