Watching! Oh, God! I shouldn't have eaten dinner before watching this. That scene between Franklin and Tara didn't set well with my stomach!

Agree, though the story with Sam's family still brings everything to a halt. I think the trailer they showed afterward was more or less the same thing they showed at Comic Con, as it was definitely one for the rest of the season.

Loved seeing Lafayette kick some ass for a change.

Re: True Blood -- "I Got a Right to Sing the Blues" -- 07/25/10

From True Blood's twitter earlier this evening:
Tonight's new episode just might be the bloodiest yet. Think you can take it? http://itsh.bo/TBBluespreview #trueblood
Damn, did they live up to that! Fantastic episode! Next week's episode looks insane!

Spoiler:
The dog fighting we already figured out, but nice little addition by having the mother have been involved in the dogfighting as well.

I don't know who else was shocked to learn Hadley was still a human and not a vampire

WTF @ Bill out in the sunlight and it not affecting him? Possibly a dream?

That Franklin/Tara scene(s) were amazing! This was definitely one of the best episodes of True Blood so far!

"trueblood" and "lafayette" are trending topics on twitter

Here's a link to the postmortem http://www.hbo.com/#/true-blood/epis...IyMgIAdc8XOA==

It fills in the blank left as to what happened to the FOTS minister and his wife if you listen.

Is Nan Flanagan really someone who believes in equal rights, or is it just an act she puts on for the TV appearances? Also, how high up is her power? She seemed to outrank Godric and looks to figure prominently in the future.

Great episode. That stuff with Bill and Lorena was pretty serious.

Yes, it was. Pretty intense, if I do say so. My favorite episode of True Blood, so far. Can't wait to see what's next!

"Where you been?"

"Tara, I will not be policed"

The Sam and Jason stories are the only thing dragging the season down right now/

Can you kill a vampire by

Spoiler:
smashing its skull into tiny little pieces? When Tara was making her escape, I was waiting for Franklin to pop up again. I'm still not convinced we've heard the last of him.

Generally speaking, if your brain has been smashed into a pile of pulpy goo, you don't recover from it, even if you are a vampire.

I'm betting on not dead. She should have used one of the axes to chop his head off.

Is Sam this boring in the books? I wonder what the hell the purpose of his character is.

Great to see Lafayette kick more redneck ass. I hope Jesus isn't gone for good.

Im thinking the mace was probably made of silver so that probably was what sealed the deal... The past 2 episodes have been great. All I wanted was for this season to be better than last, and right now its as good if not better than the first season.

Did Jesus really not know Lafayette was a drug dealer? He can't possibly think a fry cook could afford that kind of car...right?

I can't think of any show (aside from possibly Lost in the beginning) that uses cliffhanger endings more effectively... where I eagerly await the next episode without being annoyed that I was left hanging. It helps to know that the cliffhanger will almost always be resolved before the opening credits of the next episode.

I love how well the blend the humor as I thought more than anything it was hilarious, but not in a laughing-at-you way.

Spoiler:
I think that shot of Bill in the sunlight has something to do with his interest in Sookie's powers/ family history in that she might be able to change vampires back to humans.

Also, isn't that the politician who "got together" with Lafayette in season one?

Re: True Blood -- "I Got a Right to Sing the Blues" -- 07/25/10

I wonder if the Queen's interest in Sookie has to do with her potential powers?

While I know there is zero chance in hell of this happening at the end of this season, I think it would be really cool if:

-Notice we never see the weather change in Bon Temps? Maybe this season could end with autumn occurring. We see Eric at Fangtasia one evening examining a collection of weapons he has collected over time, and he takes notice of one sword in particular with the image of a grey-wolf on it. Pam or someone comes in and informs him that it is getting cooler than typical outside. He puts the sword away and in his native language says: "Winter is Coming..."

Sorry, I'm a geek!!!

wtf?!?!?

I do wish time went a little faster in the show, but that's not really a big issue to me. I'm hoping season 4 uses the "main plot" from the fourth book.

I assume you know what the phrase means, right?

Spoiler:
It's a reference to song of Fire and Ice

I had to look it up, but now I know what you're talking about.
