For the record, that is not what I am worried about.

MTV is simply not the same as it was...they water things down for mass consumption now. I just have a feeling they are going to have Judge make it more accessible, which will kill the tone of the show. Much like when Ren & Stimpy came back...but that was the opposite, but John K is a pretentious asshole.

However, being a HUGE fan of the show and Judge, I will check it out. If it does suck, I have my King Turd set I can watch over and over again.

I'm assuming if this will be like The Simpsons/South Park where it's a rolling chronology in which they never age but are always in the modern-day high school setting. Just transplanting them to the now should open up a lot of new story ideas.

I'm actually excited about the idea of them ripping apart some modern day stuff. Plus the 90s episodes featured a lot of 80s videos, so I don't see why there won't be some older videos in the mix. Some of the late 90s stuff (especially nu-metal and boy bands) should be ripe for mockery. They could even change up the formula a bit and start mocking viral/Youtube type stuff.

What I can tell you is this is Mike Judge's show and nobody tells him what to do. He absolutely controls everything he does and is SUPER protective of B&B. So what you see is what Mike Judge wants to show you.
