What I liked:

-Bob Saget-hilarious!

-Autumn Reeser-:drool:

-This show still manages to end with the perfect music after all these years

Disliked:
-Pretty much everything else. I am not digging the new Vince storyline at all. The NFL thing seems tacked on, and they just explained Andrew's absence as an afterthought.

Good episode. Saget of course was fucking gold! Speaking of gold... LA Golds?? :lol:

I miss the Ari/Lloyd comedy duo..having him as an actual agent isnt as enjoyable.

When did this show turn into a drama?? Geez, two episodes with very few funny lines. I don't know it just seems like these episodes have lost something that it possessed before. The jokes use to flow throughout the show, and I honestly only laughed at Bob Sagets lines tonight.

And Maria Menounos is hot! :)

The show itself has been meh for the past few seasons. All it has anymore is Ari. Vince is dull. E is terrible. Drama is at least passable. The only reason I even watch is because its just popcorn TV. Personally I can't believe they keep bringing it back.

The show is much worse than the first couple seasons. It's still worth my time but there has been a noticeable shift away from comedy and towards drama, which doesn't suit the show.

I still watch it because I watched it from the very beginning but it as you said it has not been good for a while. I kind of wish they would hurry up and end it pretty soon.

Same here. We already invested so much time into it it's tough to just get out cold turkey. For me it seems like I'm almost obligated to see it through. Ari and some of the random cameos help in that regard but overall not too good.

No, the wide angle of Vince talking on the phone with E (looking towards the rear of the plane) is clearly a green screen shot. The insurance liability issues alone make an actual actor stunt like this cost prohibitive.

Are you saying that a stuntman, not Adrian Grenier, was driving when Vince decided to make the jump instead of a stuntman? They pretended to take out the pretend stuntman only to slip in a real one?

The show is sliding a bit, especially after last season. And with Eric engaged to Sloan, she should be on every episode giving the evil eye to Kate Mara as E's assistant.

I assume they want Ari to put together a investment group and lead that group because I'm sure he doesn't have anywhere near close $500M lying around which is what it would probably take to have a 51% stake in a L.A. expansion team.

However, I always thought the NFL ownership rule was that 51% of the ownership (and the money) had to be vested in one person. But maybe that's changed.


And I agree with those who said Maria Menounos was the star - so hot.

Autumn Reeser looked good, but I prefer her with longer hair; not sure about the new color either.

another meh episode! The cameos were good.. but if the biggest plot points we are going to have this season is that Vince cut his hair, and is spending his free time having fun - - then this is going to be one boring summer.

I thought this was better than the last episode but Im not sure how its going to end. I thought it was perfect the way last season ended, it could have been the series?

Oh and if E and Sloan are engaged, then where the hell is she? Shes gotta pop up soon right?

This episode took place over the course of a couple hours on a work day, Sloane isn't going to be with E 24/7.

Oh man, this was one of the worst episodes of recent memory. I didn't care about Turtle's relationship with his ex-driver last week, and this week was even worse. AND it's going to continue.
Thrill-junkie Vince? That's just an attempt to make a very bland character interesting. That stunt crap angst from last week was done better by Burt Reynolds 30 years ago.
I usually love Drama, but all these years later it's just the same thing over and over with him.
And why isn't Ari reaming his new assistant like he did with Lloyd?

All of this and it wasn't funny either! Entourage has never been known for a great plot, but the shows breezed by for a half and hour because it was one great joke after another. I honestly found myself looking at the clock last night because I was so bored with the episode, and when I usually do this, it usually means a show has lost my interest. I used to plan my Sunday night around Entourage, now this might go on the DVR watch-list, where if I get around to it sometime during the week. I invested too much of the characters to give up, but I think the show is on the downswing.

Same here. I'm also that way with Weeds.... I want the series to end badly but want closure so I didnt feel like I wasted all this time watching.

Ditto. FWIW, I felt the finale of last season actually gave us quite a bit of closure to everything. If the rest ends up sucking, I'll just consider it the series finale in retrospect.

I liked it! Still as entertaining as it ever was. I think you guys are a little nostalgic for a classic that it never was. It's really been this simple and popcorn-ish since the beginning.

Yeah, but it's always been about Vinnie trying to become a star. Now he is, so they don't seem to know how to run with it.

I really don't like how they're trying to turn Vinnie into a thrill seeker. It's like the PG version of giving him a drug addiction. It rings false. I know Entourage is supposed to be this happy, funny show but 7 years and the only addiction he has is to adrenaline? Weak sauce.

Yeah I saw part of the first episode again the other day (for the first time in years) and...it really sucked. They didn't know what to do with Ari, tried to act like he was cheating on his wife, but later made him out to be the most faithful person. Every celebrity and random person on earth apparently knows who Turtle is, all the timing was totally off. It's almost at the point where if I wanted to get someone into this show, I would start them on Season 3 or something. I'd say this current season, while not off to a great start, still has potential to be on par with the better seasons.

I always thought Maria was smokin' hot, but then she threw out the f-word and her hot-ness level shot up a level. Not sure why, it was just awesome.

It was on OK episode. Taylor Townsend looked nice. I did find it kind of strange that an AMEX Corporate Card would be frozen for a charge of 10,000. Oh and Vince is an idiot for cutting his hair.

My whole beef with the first two episodes is simple: It isn't funny! I agree with you the show has always been a guilty pleasure show, but now it seems like their trying to hard. It was one of the first episodes that I can remember that I didn't laugh out loud at something. Even Ari and Drama didn't make me laugh, and they are good for 3 laughs every show!

This was the first episode in the history of the show that I wanted to turn off early. I hope they can turn this around so it doesn't feel like Weeds (please end that show ASAP).
