Why is everybody whining about no Sloan this season? Wasn't everybody whining last season about how big of a bitch she was and how E should dump her?

Anyway, like somebody else already mentioned, Sloan has a job and E has a job. In the first episode they met up for lunch. That's what SOME couples do during the day, but most don't see each other at all during the day because one, or both of them is working. I'm sure she'll show up and I'm sure one episode will be their wedding. The entire season can't be about them because happy couples aren't interesting. Just watch The Office and you'll see that. No way E and Sloan are going to break up again, so they're just going to be a happy engaged couple for most of the season and then get married. There really isn't much the show can do to focus on their relationship right now. Of course, there's no reason she can't show up every now and then by the pool in a bikini though.

I think they blew their load when they had Aquaman become the biggest movie ever, or at least the biggest opening ever. Vince became a huge A-list star and then they had to invent ways for him to fuck it up.

They either should have just stuck with the storyline of him being a fringe actor trying to become an A-lister or kept him the A-lister he was after Aquaman and sort of moved him into the background. Then everybody could live the good life, the boys could still do their thing, Vince could party it up and have storylines about doing movies with other A-list actors and directors--maybe throw in some conflicts there.

As it stands, they've never had a clue what to do with Vince. He started out just trying to make it in the business. Then he made it and fucked it up. Then he made it back and fucked it up again. Now, apparently he's made it back once again and is in the process of fucking it up yet again.

As nice as she is to look at, Sloan being out of the picture is good. Any Sloan-related storyline is sure to involve drama and E being a pussy.

It has. Sometime in the mid 1980s, they changed the rule so that the lead owner had to own 30% of the team, and there couldn't be more than (IIRC) 20 total investors in a team. In 2004, they lowered it to 20% for teams which had been owned by the same family for at least 10 years, provided other members of the immediate family owned the other 10%. Late last year the NFL flipped the rule, meaning that the lead owner only has to own 10% of the team, as long as his immediate family owns the other 20%.

It sounds confusing (and it is), but now that several teams are worth in excess of a billion dollars, it's kind of necessary. Not many individuals have a billion dollars lying around they can thrown down on an NFL team.

ETA: it's unlikely that the NFL would put an expansion team in LA, since there are already a nice, equal number of teams (32). More likely, Ari would have to buy the Vikings (est. value $839m) or the Jaguars (est. value $744m).

I think the amount of Sloan we've seen so far this season is great! ;)

I'll be honest, as lackluster as this season seems, one way to officially destroy it would be to have its focus be on E and her planning the wedding and being in love, etc. I just hope it doesn't have a scenario of Vince's idiotic behavior forcing E to make decisions between doing something with her and taking care of him. Of course that could lead to an E turning into Ari, so to say, which would kind of make sense from an overall story arc viewpoint.

Marky Mark was on the Espys last nite with "SLoane" saying he has a lot of sexual scenes coming up all the fans are going to want her in .... As far as the plot goes if I want to watch someone lose their mind I can watch E! the channel not Entourage...Watching this show I want to see Hollywood lifestyles not Hollywood Drama ( again not a pun ) I wanna see Drama losing his shit I wanna see Grenier Mingle with hot chicks I wanna see Turtle smoke weed , play playstation , and talk shit , I wanna see Ari one-up his associates as they try to screw him " teetsie fly " .... I understand about "character development but I agree with all posts on not turning this into a DRAMA ... Come on
