Why is Carrel nominated again and The Office for that matter? Man Men again? I am in the overrated camp. At least we don't have Charlie Sheen on the list again. Very Happy for Modern Family and Glee. |
Re: 2010 Emmy Nominations
Walton Goggins got robbed for the last season of The Shield, and it happened again for Justified. Olyphant too.
Loved seeing the 5 supporting acting nominations for Modern Family. However, Jon Cryer and Jane Lynch will win. Damn, Tony Shalhoub got one last grab, the greedy bastard. He's already got 3 wins, throw some crumbs to Jim Parsons! |

The Emmy noms are so streets behind.

Mad Men on the other is one of the best dramas on TV (cable specifically) Costume designs, the sets, the writing are all top notch. I get that it's not for everyone. But, considering it's a period drama and IMO they continue to put out 13 hours of quality TV for the past 3 seasons, it's well deserving. |

I love Mada Men, but I am a little surprised to see January Jones nominated. I think she's, on average, one of the weaker actors on the show.

Re: 2010 Emmy Nominations
I agree from an acting standpoint, January Jones is one of the weaker actors on Mad Men. But, IMO she has the classic beauty that exemplifies the time period.

Re: 2010 Emmy Nominations
Even though Goggins had no chance at the Supporting Actor award, he deserved a nomination. It's honestly a coin-toss between Emerson and O'Quinn for who will win it though.
Olyphant definitely deserved a Best Actor nomination, as did Josh Holloway, who has been overshadowed by Matthew Fox when it comes to all the accolades. |
Re: 2010 Emmy Nominations
Breaking Bad better win best drama, that's all I know.

Best. FYC. ever.
Any chance Julie Bowen and Sarah Hyland can join her? :) |
