MADA MEN - help!
I'm crazy about DVD audio commentaries, mainly because of SIX FEET UNDER, Alan Ball, the creator and his crew. I learned so much more about film making with those guys than in some, if not, most of my film classes in college.
It helped me so much in matter of deconstructing a character. Unfortunately not all commentaries, from writers or directors are good enough, or worth of the time spent.
but I'm glad to have found this web site because living in Brazil, sometimes you have poor releases of the same DVDs you have in the US, without a lot of extras and commentaries.
So I found myself very frustrated and many time having to buy at a more expensive price the US version of a particular film, or show, just because I'm so interested in what the director or writer had to say about that piece.
I right now crazy to hear what Mathew Weiner has to say about MAD MEN, because I just finished watching the first season and went to buy the DVD because I wanted to watch all over again with his commentaries, and I learned that he mad it in all 13 episodes, but at the video store I saw that the Brazilian version does`t have any of that. It was a poor release of Universal.
I already ordered at this place that imports DVD, but it takes up to five weeks to get here, and I'm so anxious to watch it right now, especially because I'm in middle of writing my second screenplay, and it would a be lot of help, I guess, considering the quality of the show and the depth of the characters.
So, if anyone owns it and is kindly enough to put here or some place else, juts the commentaries it would make me eternally great full!!

Do you mean like a typed out version of the commentaries for each episode or posting a link to the actual commentaries.....which I think might be illegal, if it's possible at all.
Just saying.

Check out the reviews section up top, they frequently list the extra features in detail for most shows and movies. Here's the breakdown. It's for the Blu-ray release, but the commentaries contained are the same:

No, I'm not looking for a transcript of his commentaries, although in worst case scenario it would be great!
I'm looking to download the audio file with the commentary and sync with my DVD. I know it's "illegal", but it's may fault that Universal released a shitty version of the show in the country that I live, which can actually teach me something?
Besides, I already order the 3 season (US version) with an importer, the only thing that sucks is that takes up to 5 weeks to get here. And once I had bought something IT IS NOT illegal to have in your computer.
