What was with the random helicopter thing at the end? That made no sense.

I liked the first episode more than the second. The poker scene seemed a little too self-indulgent and slightly obnoxious. I'd much rather see him in "real life" situations. And the stand up bits are terrific.

I heard he did something similar with a helicopter before, just found what it was:

Okay I was really impressed. I haven't laughed this hard in a long time.
The 1st episode was pretty damn funny. Loved all of Louie's stand-up routines and I like how the show intertwines his life into them.
That chick that Louie went on the date with was such a fucking bitch and I loved how awkward their scenes were. Loved when that dude knocks on the door and says he has to take a massive dump and Louie gets mistaken for him. I liked how Louie just tried to randomly kiss her at the beginning and then again before she just took off in the Chopper.
The scene where they went on that field trip from Hell with that clueless bus driver was hilarious. Is it true that Highway in New York really doesn't allow buses?
2nd episode was pretty good too. The dialogue in that Poker game was so sharp. Loved how graphic the conversation got when they were talking about "City Jerks"
So I guess Gervais will probably be in a future episode as he wasn't in either one of these episodes.
That sex scene with Tammy was so awkward and nasty, yet I found it hilarious.
This is a total guy show. I can definitely see why it's on 11pm.

Didn't like it at all. Already deleted it from my series recordings.

Great start to this show, especially the opening of the second episode.
I thought the chopper was great, a perfect way to surmise how some guys are timid when it comes to women and the thoughts that run through their heads. That's basically what the show is, a trip into Louis C.K.'s mind.
Definitely a guy show, perfect for FX.
The Gervais episode is next week.

I loved something as simple as when he went to open the door for her and trapped her in the vestibule. Probably because I have constant instances where I try to do something like that and it becomes awkward.

There were a lot of LOL moments but I'm not sold on the format yet. The date and poker scenes worked for me but the bus scene mostly fell flat. That scene would probably have been hilarious if he was telling it as a story on stage or on a talk show, but as dramatized it was underwhelming.

There were a few funny bits (like moving the black kids to the window seats and the poker game discussion with the gay dude), but overall not particularly good. Certainly not up to the level of Sunny or The League on F/X.

I liked this a hell of a lot more than Lucky Louie. I laughed a lot, but the bus trip seemed out of place. I haven't watched the second episode yet, but will definitely keep this on my must see list every week.

I don't watch alot of standup comedy, but I thought Louie's bits in the Comedy Club were pretty good. it did run out of steam in the 2nd episode when he was talking about having sex with monkeys.

Oh my God.. did that suck!
I wont be watching again. Was that a girl in the first episode? All I saw was a nose. I will give props to whoever cast that little girl and her as a 40 yr old, they looked related!
Was I the only one who caught in ep 1 he says he was married for 10 years and 41, than in the second he says he was married 14 and divored at 42....

It's alright, there were some moments that made me laugh, but overall just "eh". A blatant ripoff of Seinfeld/Curb.

Anyone else notice that in the 2nd episode young Louie has blue eyes but Louis CK has brown eyes? Casting fail

Definitely better than Lucky Louie (although not saying much). I'll continue to tune in.

I thought it was funny.
I probably laughed the hardest at the line about gays as an alternative fuel source, and the bit where he told the naked woman to just show it to him already.
