All in all, I'd say the series is a C-, with a good premise but lousy execution until the last half-dozen or so episodes, and there were too many lingering questions when the series ended to be able to say it came to a satisfying conclusion. And I still want to know what was the deal with that kangaroo.
I think it is simply a zoo animal that escaped in the chaos, personally.

OK, I just finished watching all of the episodes on Netflix.
It's not a bad series, but if I were to give it a grade it would be in the C+ range. I can see why it didn't get a 2nd season.
Now I need to get caught up on the 24 series (I've only seen Season 1), and Prison Break looked interesting.
