Who would've thought at the beginning of this season that we would get this type of ending. Incredible. I don't know what to say...I'm going to miss this show so much.

emotional. Amazing finale. The first half of the season sucked but it really picked up around the deaths of Hassaun and the shocker Renee which set off a kick ass Bauer.

Just amazing.

Can't believe 24's finale was more emotional than last night's. Even knowing this really wasn't the end for these characters. Kudos to the 24 team for one helluva a finish. Chloe just made that ending absolutely incredible.

Even though I wasn't around for the last season, and the latter half of 6, I've been watching this show for years and expected it to continue at least until next year. After these last few months and seeing the last half of this season, it was among the best that the series has produced, and although this isn't really goodbye, it's still hard to say goodbye.

Exactly, I've felt the same way about Chloe since the first time I saw her. Hit the nail on the head.

Me too. The last scene was so very effective.

Great last season and a super finale. I loved it.

Still, I am not at all ready to let Jack go and hope to see him on the big screen.

Re: Twenty Four (24) -- 2 Hour Series Finale -- "2:00pm to 4:00pm" -- 05/24/10

I was worried how the writers would wrap up the show with a movie on the horizon, but they did it with flying colours. This was such a great tribute to the series, to Jack, to Chloe. It was a great and fitting ending and sets the stage wonderfully for a 24 movie. I cannot express how satisfied I am with this as the series finale. We've spent so long with this character and I really feel this last season has done him justice.

I'm just so glad that President Taylor apologized to Jack and let him know she will pay for what she has done. Giving him permission to flee was wonderful, because she knows it is her fault he did what he did.

I loved the conversation between Jack and Chloe, because I know way back when, I didn't think Chloe would be the one here all these years later still having Jack's back. What a great and emotional moment between the two. Both Kiefer and Mary Lynn were at their best in that scene and the writing was top notch.

I thought I read somewhere that Morris was going to be in the finale, but I guess not.

I loved Dalia's smirk at the end to the Russian President, that she knew he would pay.

I still say President Taylor could issue a pardon for Jack or her successor could issue one.

Man am I going to miss this show.

Why can't that bitch issue a pardon before she quits?

It would do no good the Russians would also be after Jack.

Got the feeling that this was the anti-Lost, with Chloe's line "Whatever happened, didn't happen."

So I recall that high-angle last shot of Jack in the first season as well. There's a shot of him looking up at CTU's director or something. Was this deliberate? Anyone?

Re: Twenty Four (24) -- 2 Hour Series Finale -- "2:00pm to 4:00pm" -- 05/24/10

I just read the new Entertainment Weekly that came in the mail today. There is a nice interview with 24 creators and cast.

In a mini-review of the finale in their TV section (really short) it said to have your tissue ready for the final moments.

I am surprised they would screen a series finale for the media at all.

Also didn't like them announcing a movie would be made. Should've waited until now to do that.
