Please , like I need to have seen it to know they bullshitted their way through the entire series, and won't just leave us hanging. Hey maybe I flashed back from the future already knowing full well how much it sucks and voted to warn you all before it's to late.

Here's to hoping they pull it off, but please like there is any ending that could wrap this up without annoying the hell out of people. I mean please talking to you people is like talking to a wall anyway. I mean several of you even tried to defend that utter shit episode with just Jacob and MiB lol.

And watching that recap garbage will just annoy the hell out of me about how they just dropped storyline after storyline because they had no idea what or where they were going with any of it.

Re: Lost -- 2 1/2 Hour Series Finale -- "The End Part 1 & 2" -- 05/23/10

The last couple days I have been going through watching from season 3 to season 6. For the last couple years I have told myself that I really thought season 2 was the last great season and then 3 and 4 were ok, 5 was ok and 6 was pretty damn good so far. Well my not liking seasons 3-5 must have started around the time I started coming in here reading every week.

I actually found after watching through them again, actually for about the 3rd time since I had watched them all at least twice, that each season I really enjoyed more and more. Of course none of them really compare to season 1, that one was just amazing and season 2 I really felt picked up where the first left off and went to the next level, though not better than the first. Anyway, as much as I am going to miss Lost I am really glad the show is ending before I lost interest or before it got desperate for viewers. I'm glad that I had a chance to realize just how much I have enjoyed every season before it ends. Really looking forward to tonight now.

Even if the show ends without answering any more questions I am sure it will be very entertaining and at the least validate why so many of us have become obsessed with what happens next in Lost. Personally, I hope they go out guns blazing, answer a bunch of questions but raise even more. Then leave it open to a spinoff or books and other media. I honestly don't believe I have had my fill of the Lost universe yet and would probably buy into the next one.

Meh. Complaining that they didn't know where they were going with the show is sooo 2008.

at Michael Emerson: "I think it's safe to say Ben is the most beaten up character in the history of television." Too true.

I've waited for this final episode so much and now Dish Network is preventing me from watching it. Apparently, there are technical problems in the eastern NC feed and we can't see the local channels, including WCTI, ABC, which airs Lost. I feel like I'm going to kill someone now!

So I missed about 15 minutes of the recap special but did they skip over Michael and Walt like I think they did? If so then that is some great revisionism on Dharlton's part. But look, a focus on "The Freighter".

They sure did gloss over Michael and Walt. Big time.

Re: Lost -- 2 1/2 Hour Series Finale -- "The End Part 1 & 2" -- 05/23/10

Walt really wasn't that great of a character and the actor can't really act so it would have likely hurt the series to have him stick around. I will stick with my idea that they should have used and that is that Walt is able to perceive more than the average person and would have known that there was a more supernatural battle going on. They could have used that as the reason for letting them go. However, allowing us the viewers to know that back in season 2 would have given away too much. Besides, did anyone really miss the Michael searching for/babysitting/chastising Walt plot points that we go in the first two seasons? At some point the series had to mature and move on and it really couldn't with a kid involved.

None of these are good reasons for ignoring one of the main storylines of the first 2 seasons. Puberty, bad acting or not missing Michael search the island is no excuse.

A little help with refreshing my memory please. Who told Ben he had to turn the wheel and leave the island? Who did he say/believe it was?

I'm not gonna be able to watch until tomorrow night - does that mean I have to avoid all human contact and media, especially the internet until then?

They're spending a whole 30 minutes on the last season? Odd.

I just caught a mistake. When Ben meets Locke in the faculty lounge, Locke introduces himself as 'John Locke'... well, in the ambulance after Locke is hit by Desmond's car, Ben tells the EMT that he doesn't know Locke's first name and calls him Mr. Locke. Whoops.

I already love it. And I still have to wait 3 hours for it.
