Good news!

I disagree, Networks would then need to greenlight twice as many shows and it would actually IMO cost a lot more. A season is 35 weeks and then you would have to pay for 2 separate shows/crews/actors/studios as opposed to budgeting for 1 show with the same people in 1 timeslot. And the risk of failure grows immensely.
