I'm going to call it right now. Garza is toast. Friday at 10pm is a death slot.

And I'm surprised there is no mention of the relaunched Apprentice (the real version with real people) I guess that will be held until midseason.

The Event sounds interesting and has a decent cast, but it's such a niche show and serialized shows have a really hard time catching on with mainstream viewers nowadays.

Is P&R being held to mid-season b/c of Pohler's pregnancy? I thought I heard they were going to start filming this upcoming season shortly after this one ended because of that.

Yes, I read they are filming right now and trying to get as much in the can before she goes on maternity leave. Remember it was renewed super early for season 3.

It hasn't been "officially" renewed yet.

There's still a chance that NBC could give them a 2-hour "movie" finale to wrap up the series.

Season 4 wrapped production last Winter. There was no way they would have known the show's future that early.

Can we get one for Lost as well? We all know they won't answer all of our questions.

Re: Network Upfronts 2010 (2010-2011 TV Season)

skimmed the synopsis of some new shows and I couldn't really find a serial drama with a truly unique storyline - ala 24, LOST, Flashforward, Prison Break. And well, they are all gone now

all I could find were cops, lawyers, etc. Unless I missed something, this sucks haha

I'm horrible at picking comedies when they premiere. I always end up watching them through word-of-mouth or syndication.

EDIT: oops, Djariya...thanks hahahaha

---Fixed (shows)

Hey The Event on NBC is produced by Evan Katz from 24. I will watch it because of him.

hmmm, just read the synopsis for that and I guess that could be interesting.

watching serial dramas on NBC worries me though. Last one I watched was Heroes...and um...yea....

glad Human Target will be back. Wish that was a serial drama.

Guess my glimmer of hope that 'Numb3rs' might get renewed has disappeared.

I've just spent this past week catching up with past episodes of other shows that I've missed, so will add 'Medium' to the list since it looks like it's getting picked up again

Figures....the 2 new shows that interest me the most from NBC and FOX are both Monday 9 pm, which is already a trainwreck timeslot for me, particularly during football season.

Re: Network Upfronts 2010 (2010-2011 TV Season)

CBS' upfront announcement is still 2 days away -- 4 new pickups though (via Ausiello):

THIS JUST IN: CBS has ordered four new series, including its reboot of Hawaii 5-0 starring Alex O’Loughlin, the Jim Belushi legal drama Defenders, the Tom Selleck police drama Blue Bloods, and the plus-sized comedy Mike and Molly.

Noticeably missing from the Eye’s first wave of pickups: The Criminal Minds spinoff. But CBS’ upfront is still two days away, so there’s still time.

I feel like what we got worked pretty well for an ending. Not perfect, but if it ended there I'm satisfied.

I was kind of hoping they wouldn't. The backdoor Pilot sucked and as many already know CBS has so many fucking Police/Crime Procedurals.

I like alot of Crime Procedurals, but there comes a point when it gets to be overkill. I already try to follow all 3 CSI's, 2 NCIS's and Criminal Minds. Now Hawaii 5-0 is coming along with Criminal Minds 2...Good Christ!!
