Episode was totally ruined for me by the annoying election results crawl running across the bottom of my screen. Thanks WVEC. It's not like I could go online or wait for the local news to get this information.

Is it normal to become depressed over a TV show? I was having an alright day, and now after watching Lost, I feel like my heart has been ripped out.

Alive:
Not-Locke/Smokey/MIB - still wanting off the island and mostly dead.
Jack - alive but very sad
Kate - alive but wounded (but that nice soothing salt water had to help clean out the wound)
Sawyer - alive but unconscious (Son of a bitch!)
Hurley - alive but sad and a bit hungry
Claire - alive and still confused
Ben, Miles, and Richard - who knows at this point
Desmond - alive, but in a well? / timeline hopping
And dead:
Guy that stepped out of a Burt Reynolds movie (Lapidus)- death by standing in the path of a large metal door hit by the extreme force of semi-deep water pressure
Sayid - death by redemptive kaboom
Ilana - death by stupid kaboom
Sun - death by drowning while trapped under debris
Jin - death by drowning(?), showing just how much he loves his wife

Why are you blaming sideways Jack for this? I'm curious...I don't think I've heard this theory before.
As for my earlier theories I posted some weeks ago, I realize I am not 100% right on the details, but I think I am pretty close to how the main stuff is going to happen. Each episode I see more and more that confirms my theory, even if I see details I missed.

This was one of the best episodes in Lost history. And yet I feel fucking horrible. I had a nosebleed, for cris' sakes! If this does that to me how am I going to handle the series finale? I would throw in a Lost Season 5 nose-bleed's joke but this shit just got real!

If you're going to believe that, then you also have to think that Sayid is alive. We were already down to 5 candidates before this (since Locke is dead), now we're down to 3 (unless you're one of those people who thought "Kwon" referred to Ji Yeon)

I was just about to post this. The whole time Jin was saying he was staying I kept wanting Sun to say "we have a kid, one parent is better than no parent" Must take a few years for those maternal instincts to kick in.

I haven't been visiting these topics like I used to because this season has disappointed me and the show has become so incredibly predictable. With that being said, it's been a great ride and tonight packed an emotional punch.
