Hopefully the writers know that things are looking grim for this show for another season and that episode 22 can work as a series finale.

Hmmm, were they really expecting this show to go 7 seasons?

I read they had a 3 year story arc planned.

Then why the hell would they put a date of 2016 up there? It's just too far out to create any drama.

Nice to see Gaius get some work, just too bad it had to be on this show.

Anybody else notice the directions were wrong? Mark was verbally instructed to turn right at the dirt road, but they showed the car turning left, then he was instructed to go to the "4th building on the right", whereupon we see him turn left to the door.

I wonder if he could have just stuck something between the hammer & the rest of the gun so the firing pin couldn't hit the bullet.

It would have been even simpler to just engage the safety.

Re: FlashForward -- "The Garden of Forking Paths" -- 04/22/10

Four more years of this mess is a really unsettling thought.

BTW Mark, next time just cram a key or something down to block the hammer.

Well, I see I wasn't the only one.

I'm certainly over the silliness of this show. Ugh. All this crap about Demetri getting axed for nothing. Still James Callis sans Baltar accent was fun for one scene.

It was a little entertaining for me.

But yeah, I was expecting more of D Gibbons.

He could have used the lock he shot to open the door to block the trigger, thats what I was thinking of to do lol.

Re: FlashForward -- "The Garden of Forking Paths" -- 04/22/10

Is it just me or have there been "recap" scenes shown in the beginning of the last two episodes of footage that's never been aired?

I don't recall anything about Demitrius trying to destroy Mark's gun, and also that assassin chick ever being captured and questioned by Demitrius' fiance. I'm pretty sure I've seen every episode, too.

Do you remember the ep where Aaron's daughter is kidnapped and he confronts the CEO of the merc company during his daughter's birthday party? The Demetri stuff happened in that ep.

It would be nice if they had planned out a decent 1 season to start. This show seems to be spinning around pointlessly.

True. The plot seems to be wandering aimlessly in the "garden of forking paths."

i too, thought "why don't you either engage the safety to the gun, or put the barrel to his own gun (or some other large piece of metal that would fit behind trigger) so it wouldn't go off".

Re: FlashForward -- "The Garden of Forking Paths" -- 04/22/10

The way I see it is that they are falling into a bad-guy of the week style which is completely against the whole "D Gibbons is a bad man, Jericho/Uncle Teddy" scenario they set out earlier on.

Maybe they did plan it, and the "retooling" is what caused said spinning.
