Not to sound nit picky, but your date is wrong. Treme doesn't air on Monday, it airs Sunday night.

For those interested, this was the inspiration for Creighton's Youtube speech.

I am loving this show. Such a great ensemble cast pulled together. Initially I was hesitant about Zahn, but he fits right in with everybody else. "Pot for pot holes." :)

Looks like Creighton got Windows Vista installed a year earlier than everyone else ;)

Gave it more than half a season, and the show still seems rambling and pointless to me. Taking it off the season pass

Davis getting punched in the face was one of the most satisfying moments on television in a long time.

This show is rapidly becoming my favorite show on air.

And the music in each episode is almost worth it alone.

My wife said the same thing. I have to agree.

The magic of any of the David Simon series is how the characters and themes are all interwoven without any of the connections seeming contrived. I love seeing how the various characters fit together and being amazed at the skill in which everything is woven together.

I don't know if I missed something, but why was that guy kicking his friend out at the end??

I don't think he wanted him around his girlfriend.

Your loss. I wish each episode was two hours long. I love inhabiting these characters' lives.

I think when the shooting happened and the guy took his girlfriend away without even looking for him was the final straw.

Really loved the music this episode. Had Wire flashbacks when Albert was going into the boarded up projects.

Sonny has replaced Davis as the biggest douchebag on the show.

Just coming in to say I fucking love this show! I had my reservations before it first aired, but as a huge fan of The Wire I stayed hopeful, and it's definitely paid off. That is all. :)

Re: Treme - "Smoke My Peace Pipe" - 5/23/10

Sad episode but still great. As soon as I get done watching each episode I immediately want to rewatch it because they are all just so good.

Its a little thing, but I thought Davis listening to his own CD in the car was hilarious.

I don't know what I'm going to do when this and Justified are both over.
