I totally agree he's the worst host. I just thought that comment, along with the "hopefully she'll give you a hug when you're saying your goodbyes, but I doubt it" was pretty funny.

TJ does suck; Johnny Mosely was far better. Still, I like him making fun of Evelyn since she did act like a 4 year old.

I actually enjoyed the show last night, at least for the final exile they did it right by having the last two teams go in. I still hope Kenny loses next week in the finals.

Was that (Island) the challenge where she sold out her friends to be in the final? Then her next challenge she forfeited the duel. Then there's this one where calling her strategy poor is charitable, and she came off looking like a poor sport who felt cheated out of her entitlement to be in the final even though she was beaten fair and square, and mostly through her own fault.

Ev can act however she wants, i'm still very attracted to her and I couldn't even explain why.

I have no problem with calling her a 4 year old (although I still like Ev), but TJ has so few brain cells, he couldn't even say the right thing.

She may have acted like a 4 year old, but she's hardly the first.

Seems like he's still pissed at her for quitting in her last challenge one or two shows back. Sorry, but I lose track of these masterpieces.

PS-not a chance in hell he would have called Kenny a 4 year old if he was stuck with an annoying partner, who while wasn't bad, certainly dragged the team down every week and was just happy to be there.

Everyone gives credit to Kenny for the alliance turn-around and I don't agree. If Kenny had such huge numbers he would have been as unbearable as Wes. Things went Kenny's way mostly because his side won so much (particulary Kenny and Laurel). But it wasn't master strategy. Kenny's managed his smaller alliance better because he has had to and, really, he didn't need to make many tough choices.

I thought TJ has made little comments like that to everyone. I don't think he's singling out Evelyn, and even still the other groups that have lost haven't thrown a tantrum like she did.

Plus, it's her fault she wanted to skip the puzzle. Blaming Luke for her loss is silly to me.

It wouldn't have mattered, though. They wouldn't have done the puzzle in the 2 minutes and change that ended up being the difference anyway.

I disagree. Kenny has never bee the back stabbing type. He's always been lumped with Johnny and Evan where Johnny has always be the obnoxious one in the group. With the exception of Wes and Evelyn he hasn't really held any grudges against anybody.

I guess I just give more credit to his game play then most. He's not a strategist but he's physical and loyal and that will get him to the finales in these games more often then not.

Geez, when did I wonder into the Survivor thread....

Come on, this show is edited like crazy. While just watching the show, sure Ev probably should have tried the puzzle. But it wasn't going to get done in a minute and they lost by 2 1/2 minutes.

The main reason they lost was Luke wasn't one of the stronger guys and his pace lost them far more than 2 1/2 minutes.

Again, Ev is a love her or hate her type. I find it amusing that someone like Kenny or ANY of the regulars want to make fun of her for taking the game too seriously. Those people show up to make money and not to have fun. The fun is a bonus. Luke, who was a pleasant guy, was there for the fun first. Evan, Johnny Bananas, Kenny...they are about getting paid.

I thought it was funny when Kenny said something about how cool the decision was going to be among his alliance about putting someone in. He said it was the most honorable thing he'd ever seen. Of course it was, because the show is slimy by nature, especially when Kenny has been involved. Without Laurel as a partner, Kenny goes home early.

It's also why I get annoyed by Landon despite how cool he is. Would he be someone I'd like to know in real life? Probably. But shut up already about comments about how he understood why he was sent in the last time. And how he thought it was fair. The show is not and has never been about fair. In fact, unlike Survivor, where being a dick can end up costing you even if you play great, being a dick on an MTV reality show, if you're with the right alliance and have the right friends is almost always how you win.

I dunno, that puzzle looks like it could have potentially been done in 2 minutes. I don't mind her gamble as it was a decent decision to try and make, but you never know. The puzzles seem like they could either be real quick or take forever (like CJ and Sydney). Still, other good players have lost due to shitty partners but for the most part they don't go out pouting like a child. She deserves plenty of bashing for it.

Ev is a ****. Landon is a beast. That's really all that needs to be said. I love that guy. He really deserves to win it all.

Re: MTV - Fresh Meat 2 starting April 7

I actually thought it was a good gamble for Evelyn to not do the puzzle. They were behind. Essentially they would have had to complete the puzzle then beat Landon in a footrace. Highly unlikely. This way she gives them a shot. It was the smart play.

Evelyn has always been wound a little tight; she has a martyr complex and is a poor sport. Still, in spite of myself, I can't help but like her. I think she was out of line blaming her partner though. It wasn't his fault she sold out her entire alliance to buy Wes and herself an extra week. Basically, she should have sacrificed Wes for the greater good (she would have kept CJ, Landon, and still had a shot at Ryan & Jenn).

As for Kenny not turning on anyone...well he did turn on Darrell in week one. Almost cost him the game too. If he hadn't lucked into the best partner (let us not forget that Laurel was NOT the first female taken) this game would have been over very quickly for Kenny.

I disagree. Landon was dragging a virtual corpse to the finish line. A zombie. And I mean a Romero zombie, not one of those 28 Days Later zombies. If you do the puzzle in under 5 minutes and you get 5 minutes off your time you are mathematically better off. Maybe it's not enough to make up the difference in this case (2 1/2 minutes), but it's a lower total time regardless.

I just don't think Evelyn has the patience to sucessfully do the puzzle quickly. If we were talking about a Evan/Susie team then yeah try the puzzle. Evelyn's best shot was going.

You may be right. She was wound pretty tight by then. Plus we have no idea of the real time involved in solving the other puzzles while they did. Then again, didn't they seem surprised when they crossed the line and found out they didn't win (pending Landon's finish)? Like they had no idea about the time bonus?

I think she was hoping Landon didn't finish the puzzle and thought it meant something when TJ blew the horn.

Re: MTV - Fresh Meat 2 starting April 7

Landon is such a beast, it's insane. That guy has so much strength and stamina. The other three guys couldn't even carry or drag that 80 lb weight all the way through that leg of the race, and Landon put it on his shoulder and just carried it without much of a problem at all. It's nuts. Granted, they wouldn't have won it there was no time advantage, but they were certainly one of the best teams all along, and Landon of all people really deserved the win. He seems to be a genuinely good guy, and probably is the best person to ever be on any reality show. It's great to see a guy who's such a physical monster still be an honest, down-to-Earth guy. If there are any younger folks watching this show, I'd go as far as to say that he's a great role model.

Also, Carley has absolutely no stamina at all, but like Landon said, you've got to give it to her for never quitting, and at least responding to him trying to motivate her.

That was a pretty crazy finale climbing that mountain. It looks like that 2 minute head start in the first phase meant quite a bit for Landon and Carley.

Great final. Loved that Landon won.

Who on the show originally said that Theresa was the hottest girl in the house? I never understood that and as I watched the reunion special, i thought to myself, if I was to chose who I thought was the hottest girl at the reunion show, who would I pick? She would have come in last in my order.

oh, btw, i think the MTV executives must have told Laurel that she could be a mainstay in these challenges if she become a lot more outspoken and bitchy, because she sure went off the deep end on the reunion show.

That final challenge looked crazy. I still think it would be a fun experience to do one of those.

I'm happy Landon won. It's funny to see how beat up Kenny is over it. Part of me thinks it's all part of the act though. I'm glad he was on the challenge to make it entertaining.

Maria Menounos is a good looking women. How is she not more popular?

Funny to see Laurel and Carly go at it in the reunion. Carly seemed bitter.

Wes is an even bigger douche bag after the reunion.

I totally agree with ya. She'd be last picked out of all the girls at the reunion. It wouldn't be close at all.

Poor Wes. Not only is Kenny physically better then him he's also a better teammate and apparently a better friend. Wes got a verbal beat down and it was hard to watch. Of course Kenny came on and continues to come on the show to be famous, same as Wes does. You don't come on these shows to "make friends for life", it's to make money and be on TV.

I agree. He should have just said "for the money". Would have been 1000x more believable than the friends BS.

And the fact that he's in a commercial with Kenny doesn't help his "he just wants to be famous" argument.

I thought Theresa looked better on the actual show, but yeah she looked really unattractive on the reunion.
