Human Target -- "Tanarak" -- 03/31/10

Human Target 3

Synopsis:

Spoiler:
Chance journeys to an isolated Alaskan island to search for a missing doctor and get to the bottom of a corporation's role in a miner's death.

Special Guest Star is Moon Bloodgood from Terminator Salvation and Journeyman.

This was actually supposed to be episode 4 in the production order. It shouldn't matter since the show isn't really serialized.

2 episodes left after tonight.

Wherever they were filming, they sure had BEAUTIFUL scenery.
Another solid episode.

I wonder if an eventual BD series set would present these episodes in the correct order.

Re: Human Target -- "Tanarak" -- 03/31/10

another good ep..... I like how negotiations with one character started off with "do the right thing" and then quickly fell into "I know where you live and you know it" lol

this series over all has turned out much better then I thought it would be.. The early previews for the show made it sound like he was just a body guard. Where as the story lines have been much more merc/A-team like with a wider range to them then him just being the so called -human target-.

of course with this being on FOX I figure if we get a season two it will be in some -dollhouse- like death slot of friday night.. Yeah yeah I know, dollhouse did not die due to time slot alone.. FOX has just let me down so many times I just have no faith they will do what's best for any of their shows.

Decent episode, but the Chevy product placement was extra noticeable between the Camero and the Onstar bit if felt like a long car commercial for a while.

Remember how unapproachable Chance was in the pilot episode? It's like they decided Chance needed to have a softer side and less smug side to him (and they let Guerrero take that role).

That would be nice. Only two episodes left? I have my fingers crossed that this show gets renewed.

Re: Human Target -- "Tanarak" -- 03/31/10

Just watched the last 2 episodes earlier today.

Thought it was another fun episode. I believe the show is shot entirely on location in Vancouver British Columbia even though Chance and Winstone's headquarters is based in San Francisco. Thought BC worked very well as a fake Alaska.

Even though this was intended to be episode 4, I don't think it really mattered from a character/story telling standpoint as everything about this plot was standalone.

Moon Bloodgood was another solid female guest star. Guerrero absolutely cracks me up especially after he kidnapped the Indian Doctor.

I like the series thus far. But is Chance gonna fall in love with every chick he helps?

Is there any confirmation that these eps are indeed out of order? They seem that way at times.

If you go to the website, thefutoncritic.com and search Human Target and see the episode listings, you will see they are all out of order by production number. This was episode 104, the week before with Chance fighting was 110.
