Re: Celebrity Apprentice 2010 -- official thread
Man, that was a head-fake on who won. I thought for sure based on the Kodak exec's comments and the fact the electricity kept going out, and Sharon was hocking up lung butter while handing out appetizers, that the ladies were going to lose big-time. That was a pussified board room with the 3 of them. No one went off on anybody, and there sure was some promise of that with psycho-Brett on board.

Re: Celebrity Apprentice 2010 -- official thread
Maria Kanellis is better than I thought she would be and she seems like a cool person.
Summer Sanders a dark horse to win? The Kodac executives were impressed with her and they said she could probably work for their company. Goldberg seems like a grunt and I am shocked and I thought he was smarter than the average wrestler unless he is playing that role for the show. |

Big fan of the original and I never understood why it was regarded that the LA Edition essentially killed the franchise.
Season 2 - Viewers in millions: 16.14 Season 3 - Viewers in millions: 13.96 Season 4 - Viewers in millions: 11.01 Season 5 - Viewers in millions: 9.73 Season 6 - Viewers in millions: 7.5 Season 7 (Celebrity 1) - Viewers in millions: 11.00 Season 8 (Celebrity 2) - Viewers in millions: 8.98 Season 6 tried to change things up to give the show new life but I think the ideas just made the show much worse. Tent city tried to force a weird Survivor dynamic into the mix and the 'dynasty project manager' rule didn't allow enough people to shine (or fail, for that matter). On top of that the finale was terrible... just another routine task. |

Blago doesn't know how to open a Word document? Great choice, people of Illinois!

Re: Celebrity Apprentice 2010 -- official thread
I think this show is going to join Dancing With the Stars to be deleted off my DVR. I do not find it interesting or entertaining to watch. The challenges are dull and I really don't care about any of these celebrities.
I'll probably tune in again for the non-celebrity version next year, I liked it better when it was actually people trying to get a job/career out of this, rather than C and D list celebs muddling through. |

Straw looked like he was happy to go. That was pretty stupid. I think the men should have won, but oh well. I'm looking forward to next week. |

How do the women keep winning with Sharron's death cough? I agree that Goldberg should have been the main focus for security, not a chef. Rod and Brett begging for attention is

Re: Celebrity Apprentice 2010 -- official thread
When Summer Sanders was talking to the photographer she reminded me of Fred Armisen's Nicolas Fehn character from SNL Weekend Update.

What I didn't like about last night was they did a similar challenge like this last year with Lifelock.

Johnson should have been fired for what the men's team did. Nobody is ever going to read that. Hell I see those types of ads for those Amish "fireplaces" and those are only one page and still way to much text. 3 pages of text is way too much for an ad. |
Re: Celebrity Apprentice 2010 -- official thread
Darryl Strawberry had a fundraiser last night in St. Louis for his autism foundation. It turns out Trump gave in $25K for his charity.

No, Straw looked like he wanted out of there cause soon it would be his turn to be the boss and knew he would not be able to handle it.

Re: Celebrity Apprentice 2010 -- official thread
I don't know if the giant product placement/infomercial aspect to most of the episodes is becoming more nauseatingly invasive or my tolerance of it is just rapidly diminishing. I think the 2 hour episodes do make it much worse though. The problem with Celebrity Apprentice is that every episode is one of two things: How much money can they drag out of their VIP friends under the guise of a "task," or two hours of having some product shoved in your face under the guise of a "task." I still like to watch for other reasons, but I find myself fast-forwarding through more and more of each episode...for instance any footage of the "executives" from that week's infomercial company has become unbearable.

Re: Celebrity Apprentice 2010 -- official thread
Even one-hour shows had a segment showing the winning team get their "reward" (dinner with Trump, helicopter ride, whatever)

Re: Celebrity Apprentice 2010 -- official thread
she was a slut in high school. you can add that to whatever fantasies you got going about her. Maybe Strawberry would have stayed if Trump offered him a bag of cocaine and a razor. The task for this weeks show was boring and a letdown from the 2 previous shows. |
Re: Celebrity Apprentice 2010 -- official thread
shes from my hometown. she was known as a slut before she got famous.

Re: Celebrity Apprentice 2010 -- official thread
Sad to see
Spoiler:
get the axe. From a pure entertainment standpoint, that player was one of the best things about this season. But the real loser is that player's charity: Spoiler:
