Agreed. Both Brett and Holly played the game extremely well, but when it all came down to the end, how do you fire either of them?

Holly won almost $350K, the highest amount in the history of the show.

Brett gave 110% despite his health problems, and never gave up.

Really, they both deserved it, but I look at it this way; Holly is walking away with almost $600K for her charity, which I'm sure Trump and the producers view as its own victory.

It's nice to see people in this thread acknowledging Holly's strengths and that she probably would have won. People on other sites have been crucifying her just because they like Bret's personality more (and they love the Cinderella story).

Holly was a great organizer and the best fundraiser ever on the show. She didn't have Bret's creativity and leadership ability.

I thought Holly should win but Bret winning wasn't a stretch by any means.

I wouldn't go that far. She holds the fundraising record ONLY because she also got to keep the losing team's donations that week.

I think even without the other team and the bonus they got she still would have the record no?

Yeah. I think the previous record was Annie Duke last season with 153,000.

I found the teas tonight at the store. They were $4.50 apiece so I just bought Holly's (I LOVE Passion Fruit). The tea sucked! I didn't taste any flavors other than the tea (which was watered down). I'm done with Snapple.

The celebrity version was a decent changeup, but there's been too many, too close together. Combine that with all the Sammy Maudlinesque boardrooms because they all go in already "knowing" each other and that they are all there for charity. The whole Rivers drama was only possible because she simply can't help being a disgusting human being. But it's like Survivor all star seasons, where a little goes a long way.
