I'll float this out...

Juliet traveled back to 1974-1977 with the Losties. She is the one who ultimately sets off the bomb that causes the incident.

Therefore, the island is killing pregnant women in order to bring her to the island in 200x so she'll be there to travel back in time to cause the incident.

The bomb doesn't cause the incident. The incident occurs with or without the bomb going off. The incident is the uncontrollable release of electromagnetic energy from the ground when the drill hits the pocket.

The bomb sends the candidates to 2007. We have yet to see how the bomb affected 1977 but we know someone there finished the Swan station.

The enhanced repeat of this episode on 3/9/10 confirmed that the MIB appeared on the island as Christian to Jack and Claire, as Yemi to Mr. Eko, and as Hurley's bald buddy from the looney bin. But Christian also appeared to Jack at his job after Jack left the island. Does that mean the MIB is/was able to leave the island?

The enhanced repeats are sometimes wrong.

I often wonder if the tidbits in those enhanced episodes are coming from ABC or the writers themselves.

Re: Lost -- "Sundown" -- 03.02.10

The writers have always claimed that "Dave" was a figment or Hurley's imagination and not the monster or anything else, so it is a bit strange that they're now claiming otherwise. Are we also to assume that "Dave" was always the monster, even back when Hurley was in the institution before he even came to the island?

As far as the "enchanced" information goes, I'm not sure about the current status of it. Back when they first started doing it, lostpedia said that it wasn't coming from the writers or producers, but some of the information revealed has turned out to be accurate (such as the woman in Daniel's home being his caretaker and not his wife).

That is wrong. It's impossible, since Christian appeared to Sun and Lapidus while pointing to the newly resurrected Locke, who we know is the smoke monster. So, unless he has some newly-discovered power of being in two places at once, he cannot be both. Also, we know Christian appeared to Jack off-island and MiB is trapped on-island. I said after the first episode there has to be at least a third as-yet-unidentified entity.

After reading this, I had to check to see if this was right. It didn't quite play out like that. Christian told Sun and Lapidus to wait for Locke in Ben's old house and a day later Locke and Ben show up. Christian wasn't around at that point.

Okay, I don't remember that necessarily, but since you have it queued up, watch the scene again. You can see the smoke monster blowing around outside while Christian is talking.

Well, here's what I did notice. When Sun and Lapidus arrived at the dock, you could hear Smokie sounds in the bushes. Then later when they are talking to Christian, there's a strong wind that blows open the door with some fog.

<object width="512" height="296"><param name="movie" value="http://www.hulu.com/embed/FOwS-QecPIxJxUFPvo9G7Q/2089/2099"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.hulu.com/embed/FOwS-QecPIxJxUFPvo9G7Q/2089/2099" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowFullScreen="true" width="512" height="296"></embed></object>

I do agree with what you are saying though. I think Christian may be an entity separate from MiB and Jacob. But there really hasn't been any definitive proof one way or the other.

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. That can't be fog, it's black smoke. So how can he be in two places at one time?

Even so, how the hell did he slip away from Ben to talk to these two when they're traveling together?

Just because it's windy and a little foggy outside doesn't mean Smokey is out there. Christian was Smokey until Locke's body arrived then he switched and dumped Christian's body somewhere.

Jack was seeing Christian on the island but it was Smokey. When he saw him at the hospital he was drunk and imagining it.

There is a day gap between Christian talking to them and Locke arriving. It's actually three episodes later. Ben and Locke don't set out together until the day after Christian's conversation.

Was he? Hurley did warn him that someone was going to visit him soon. Then we saw Christian show up for a second or two.

I did just think of something that never crossed my mind before about Dave. I've always assumed it was the monster, but now we know that Hurley can see and talk with dead people. What if Dave was a real person who was already dead the entire time?

It's mostly worthless and plenty of wrong info slips in. Confirmed as being written via a seperate source at ABC.

Definitely something I thought about. I think it's possible, if not probable.

I forgot about Hugo's comment. So, how about this? Jacob and the MiB are both on the island. The MiB is trapped there and wants to leave. When flight 815 crashes, the MiB traps Jacob in his cabin and puts the powder around it so he can't leave. He then finds Christian's body and starts using it to manipulate the survivors. First Jack then Ben and finally Locke. When Ben and Locke are in the cabin and only Locke hears Jacob's cry for help, "help me," it's too late for Locke and Jacob. At the donkey wheel, before Locke leaves the island, the MiB (as Christian) has one last chance to manipulate Locke so he tells him whatever he has to so that Locke's body will be on the island for him to use as another vessel so he can kill Jacob through Ben.

So, we come back to Christian on the mainland. Maybe in human form he can appear anywhere off-island for short periods of time (hospital, boat, etc...)

As for Dave, I remember Hugo was holding a slipper. The question is: did anyone else on the island ever see the slipper? If yes, then Dave was physically there.

You are in denial if you think that is not the smoke monster. If you really think that black smoke moving around is fog, then I guess we'll have to agree to disagree and I'll just gloat later when proven correct. Or, I'll take it if proven incorrect.

Mark my words: The two are not the same.
