OMFG....I just watched that Amy's Baking Company episode of Kitchen Nightmares on Hulu Plus just now after reading some of the comments here and that was classic!!!

That woman Amy is a fucking nut case!! So glad that Gordon walked out at the end. Why the fuck did these 2 nutcases reach out to Gordon and FOX when they weren't going to fucking listen to a damn thing that had to say?

What pissed me off was how Samy said he doesn't let the staff keep tips.

Clearly they wanted Gordon to validate the quality of their food and silence the "haters". When it became obvious that he wasn't going to do that, they shut down.

I had to watch the episode after all the buzz. Wow, that was actually infuriating to watch. I hope people don't even visit that place as a goof. I have no problem if you want to pay a waitstaff hourly. However, they should then not accept tips or acknowledge where they are going if they are left at the table.

If I was part of the waitstaff every table I served "didn't leave a tip."

It's interesting, if you search out online reviews from before all this started, they're not that bad, and some are quite good. Amazing episode. Has Gordon ever done that before? Just recognize a situation is beyond hope and peace out? Amy seems learning disabled in some way. Like the second Gordon would say anything critical should would walk away or couldn't process what he was saying. Entire point of the show is for Gordon to highlight flaws so they can correct them.

I wanna say he ditched some place out in Kansas City that was trying to be a TGIF/Chili's ripoff but was serving rotten food. The owner then wasn't wanting to change and he took off.
