Wow, didnt' realize who that was, especially with that dark hair. It looks like she's been a busy actress the last 10 years.

I won't make you jump through hoops, it's 1980's "My Bodyguard" starring Adam Baldwin.

Right clicking and opening an image is jumping through hoops?

She may be a white girl and not able to jump!
Regarding My Bodyguard, one of the really good 'youth' movies of the early 80's. That was my first time seeing Adam Baldwin. I didn't realize that he is only 10 months younger than me. He looks good for (our) age.

Just watched the episode on my DVR. Loved it.
Kreuk looks to be a good addition although I hope that she's not as short lived on the series as Rachel Bilson.
Also next episode looks awesome.

Does the dialogue from Chuck also come from the movie? Never seen it, but that would be funny!

Loved it. Superman's been good so far and Lana Lang sure looked hotter than she ever was. Was Shaw's codename, "Blackbriar" an homage to the Bourne series?

So now we have the movie Superman and the TV Lana Lang on the same show.
Anyone have a cap of the shot of Kristen in the Buy More outfit in the trailer? Wow.
Also, something I found online:
This week in "Chuck" pop culture references: Chuck tries to order a martini "shaken, not stirred" like James Bond used to (before Daniel Craig got the part); the codenames Shaw uses to communicate with the plane-controlling satellite are taken from "War Games" ("Crystal Palace" was the code for NORAD missile command) and the Bourne films (David Strathairn was working on Blackbriar in the third movie); the brainwashing sequence looked very similar to a scene from the Warren Beatty '70s conspiracy thriller "The Parallax View"; and the line Lester says about Morgan ("Morgan Grimes is the kindest, warmest, most understanding human being I've ever known in my life") comes from the brainwashed soldiers in the original "Manchurian Candidate."

Good episode!
"Insurgents. <Grunt>" indeed.
I think part of the reason that the intersect worked so well is because something or somebody wasn't in the way. Sarah and Casey still helped Chuck, but only marginally so I think that helped as well. Heck, Casey basically just said be yourself!
I also can't help but think Lana is a plant from the Ring. They are so segmented it isn't beyond reason that the intersect wouldn't have information on her. Or then again maybe it's just for the love triangle part and nothing to do with the mission part of the show.
Didn't Shaw rip a line right out of Superman Returns?! I could have sworn he said the same thing to Sarah that Superman said to Lois on the roof about people needing help. I also thought it was funny how they gave the Shaw character black glasses.
I think the best thing about the Buy More plot this week is that not only was it a continuation of Morgan taking over the manager role, but that it was a forcing function for Casey and Morgan to bond over "insurgents". Plus where else are you going to see somebody stuffed in a mechanical arm game machine. Priceless!

Anyone notice that Lester was wearing a onesie as pajamas? Hilarious.
Also, I think Lana works for Shaw. She was on the plane to observe Chuck's mission. As soon as she invited Chuck to see the Eiffel Tower, he was ordered to immediately return home.

I share the same thoughts on Lana. I was convinced when I heard her comment when he drank the poision.
I think she was there in a hands off, observer only capacity - but maybe also there in case Chuck failed and was killed.

Finally got around to watching. Fun episode. Stone Cold was a fun villain along with Josie Davis. Josie has had many guest starring roles since she did Charles back in the late 80's. She was recently in an episode of CSI: NY. She looks fantastic BTW...Tall, pretty face and very athletic body.
I've always liked Kristin Kreuk and thought the Hannah role suited her very well. She still looks as beautiful as she did on Smallville. I have a feeling that Hannah will fall into the same realm as Rachel Bilson's character did in season 1.
Brandon Routh has been pretty good in his guest role thus far. It's good to see him working more since a Superman sequel is still in limbo.
The scene where Casey hypnotized Lester into liking Morgan was hilarious.

I know they are just commercials, but anyone scratching their head why the hell would Awesome and Ellie take a road trip to Vancouver and bring Morgan with them? I guess Zach Levi was unavailable when they were being filmed. LOL

The setup was that they didn't know Morgan was in the back seat. When they found out they were going to boot him, but he had three tickets to the Olympics. So now it's a road trip for three instead of two.

Totally thought of it too. I was hoping for an homage ... probably a little obscure even for Chuck.
I am not liking Routh. He seems wooden, same reason I wasn't a fan of him as Superman. He has a good character and writing on Chuck, so no complaints there.
Love Kreuk, she's a completely credible pull on Chuck for her arc (no way Chuck ends up with anyone but Sara at series end). I think she's working for Shaw too. He said "I never leave my agents alone." The satellite override was a bit of misdirection for that plot point, imo.
